謂北方曰、釋之返、謂南方曰、勿拘留、以我諸子攜自遠方、以我諸女返自地極、

又說：「所以，你們要從他們中間出來，離開他們，不要沾染污穢之物，我就接納你們。我要作你們的父親，你們要作我的兒女。這是全能的主說的。」

「『不忠貞的子民啊，回轉吧！因為我是你們的主人。我要從你們中間選些人帶回錫安，每座城邑或每個宗族選一兩個人。』這是耶和華說的。

那時，猶大人必與以色列人一同從北方來到我賜給你們祖先作基業的地方。我曾想，我多麼願意把你們當成我的兒女，賜給你們萬國中最肥美的土地。我原以為你們會叫我『父親』，再不離棄我。

你們都藉著信基督耶穌而成為上帝的兒女，因為你們受洗歸入基督就是披戴基督。從此不再分猶太人和希臘人，自由人和奴隸，男人和女人，因為你們都在基督耶穌裡合而為一了。你們若屬於基督，就是亞伯拉罕的後裔，都是照著上帝的應許承受產業的人。

那時，這身材高大、皮膚光滑、遠近畏懼、強盛兇悍、國土河流縱橫的民族，必帶著禮物來到錫安山，獻給萬軍之耶和華。

正如上帝在《何西阿書》上說：「本來不是我子民的，我要稱他們為『我的子民』；本來不是我所愛的，我要稱他們為『我所愛的』。從前我在什麼地方對他們說，『你們不是我的子民。』將來也要在那裡對他們說，『你們是永活上帝的兒女。』」

亞伯拉罕的後裔不一定都是亞伯拉罕的兒女，聖經上說：「以撒生的才可算為你的後裔。」這話的意思是：亞伯拉罕憑血氣所生的兒女並不是上帝的兒女，只有憑應許所生的才算是他的後裔。

「然而，以色列的人數必像海沙一樣量不盡、數不完。從前我在什麼地方對他們說『你們不是我的子民』，將來也要在那裡對他們說『你們是永活上帝的兒女』。那時，猶大人和以色列人將被聚集起來，為自己選立一位首領，從流亡之地返回故鄉，安居樂業。耶斯列的日子將是偉大的日子。
