我預宣示、以施拯救、今又示此事、爾中並無他神、爾曹為我證、惟我為天主、此乃主所言、

I have revealed and saved and proclaimed— I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord,“ that I am God.

I have made known what would happen. I saved you. I have told you about it. I did this. It was not some other god you worship. You are my witnesses that I am God,” announces the Lord.

I declared and saved and proclaimed, when there was no strange god among you; and you are my witnesses,” declares the Lord,“ and I am God.

I alone declared, saved, and proclaimed— and not some foreign god among you. So you are my witnesses”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ and I am God.

The Lord alone guided them; they followed no foreign gods.

Do not tremble; do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim my purposes for you long ago? You are my witnesses— is there any other God? No! There is no other Rock— not one!”

‘ For my own honor and for the sake of my servant David, I will defend this city and protect it.’”That night the angel of the Lord went out to the Assyrian camp and killed 185,000 Assyrian soldiers. When the surviving Assyrians woke up the next morning, they found corpses everywhere.

For I know how stubborn and obstinate you are. Your necks are as unbending as iron. Your heads are as hard as bronze.That is why I told you what would happen; I told you beforehand what I was going to do. Then you could never say,‘ My idols did it. My wooden image and metal god commanded it to happen!’You have heard my predictions and seen them fulfilled, but you refuse to admit it. Now I will tell you new things, secrets you have not yet heard.They are brand new, not things from the past. So you cannot say,‘ We knew that all the time!’

Remember the things I have done in the past. For I alone am God! I am God, and there is none like me.Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish.

Listen! I myself will move against him, and the king will receive a message that he is needed at home. So he will return to his land, where I will have him killed with a sword.’”

Now, O Lord our God, rescue us from his power; then all the kingdoms of the earth will know that you alone, O Lord, are God.”

You must never have a foreign god; you must not bow down before a false god.For it was I, the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it with good things.
