我為耶和華、此我名也、不以我之榮光畀他神、不以我之聲譽付雕像、

“ I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols.

“ I am the Lord. That is my name! I will not let any other god share my glory. I will not let statues of gods share my praise.

I am the Lord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols.

俾知爾名耶和華者、在於寰宇、獨為至高兮、

余而外、勿更有他神、○勿雕偶像、勿造上天下地、地下水中、百物之像、勿拜跪、勿崇奉、以我耶和華爾之上帝、乃忌邪之上帝、惡我者、討其罪、自父及子、至三四世、

勿崇奉他神、蓋耶和華乃忌邪之上帝、名為忌邪、

惟我為耶和華、我外無他救主、

俾眾敬子如敬父、不敬子者、不敬遣子之父也、

摩西曰、我至以色列族、告曰、爾祖之上帝遣我就爾、彼若詰我其名為何、將奚以對、上帝曰、我乃自有、當告以色列族曰、自有者遣我就爾、又曰、亦告以色列族曰、遣我就爾者為耶和華、乃爾祖之上帝、即亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝、耶和華乃我恆久之名、歷世為誌、

曰、如是、可使之信耶和華、其祖之上帝、即亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝、顯見於爾、

耶穌曰、我誠語汝、未有亞伯拉罕之先、即有我矣、
