This is what God, Yahweh, says— who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and what comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it and life to those who walk on it—

主天主造諸天而張之、闢地及造其上之萬物、以生氣賦地上之生民、以靈性畀凡行於地者、今如是云、

This is what God the Lord says— the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them out, who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it:

God created the heavens and stretches them out. The Lord spreads out the earth with everything that grows on it. He gives breath to its people. He gives life to those who walk on it. He says to his servant,

Thus says God, the Lord, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and what comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it:

This is what the true God, the LORD, says– the one who created the sky and stretched it out, the one who fashioned the earth and everything that lives on it, the one who gives breath to the people on it, and life to those who live on it:

God Yahweh, he who created the heavens and stretched them out, he who spread out the earth and that which comes out of it, he who gives breath to its people and spirit to those who walk in it, says:

God is enthroned above the circle of the earth; its inhabitants are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like thin cloth and spreads them out like a tent to live in.

I made the earth, and created man on it. It was My hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their host.

My soul, praise Yahweh! Hallelujah!

The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

Oh, Lord God! You Yourself made the heavens and earth by Your great power and with Your outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for You!

For this is what the Lord says— God is the Creator of the heavens. He formed the earth and made it. He established it; He did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited—“ I am Yahweh, and there is no other.

Then the Lord God formed the man out of the dust from the ground and breathed the breath of life into his nostrils, and the man became a living being.

The life of every living thing is in His hand, as well as the breath of all mankind.

He spread the land on the waters. His love is eternal.

Neither is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives everyone life and breath and all things.

God called the dry land“ earth,” and He called the gathering of the water“ seas.” And God saw that it was good.Then God said,“ Let the earth produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds.” And it was so.The earth produced vegetation: seed-bearing plants according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

The earth and everything in it, the world and its inhabitants, belong to the Lord;for He laid its foundation on the seas and established it on the rivers.

The heavens were made by the word of the Lord, and all the stars, by the breath of His mouth.

Long ago You established the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.They will perish, but You will endure; all of them will wear out like clothing. You will change them like a garment, and they will pass away.

This is what the Lord, your Redeemer who formed you from the womb, says: I am Yahweh, who made everything; who stretched out the heavens by Myself; who alone spread out the earth;

He builds His upper chambers in the heavens and lays the foundation of His vault on the earth. He summons the waters of the sea and pours them out on the face of the earth. Yahweh is His name.

In these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son. God has appointed Him heir of all things and made the universe through Him.

And: In the beginning, Lord, You established the earth, and the heavens are the works of Your hands;they will perish, but You remain. They will all wear out like clothing;You will roll them up like a cloak, and they will be changed like a robe. But You are the same, and Your years will never end.

Do you not know? Have you not heard? Yahweh is the everlasting God, the Creator of the whole earth. He never grows faint or weary; there is no limit to His understanding.

Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand or marked off the heavens with the span of his hand? Who has gathered the dust of the earth in a measure or weighed the mountains in a balance and the hills in the scales?

Instead, you have exalted yourself against the Lord of heaven. The vessels from His house were brought to you, and as you and your nobles, wives, and concubines drank wine from them, you praised the gods made of silver and gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or understand. But you have not glorified the God who holds your life-breath in His hand and who controls the whole course of your life.

Then God said,“ Let the earth produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that crawl, and the wildlife of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so.So God made the wildlife of the earth according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and creatures that crawl on the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

as long as my breath is still in me and the breath from God remains in my nostrils,

If He put His mind to it and withdrew the spirit and breath He gave,
