但那倚靠雕刻的偶像，对铸造的偶像说：“你是我们的神明”；这种人要退后，大大蒙羞。

但那些信靠雕刻的偶像、供奉金属铸像的必遭唾弃，羞愧难当。

那些倚靠偶像，对铸像说：“你们是我们的神”的，必被赶逐，全然蒙羞。

那些依靠雕刻的偶像，对铸造的偶像说‘你们是我们的神’的，都必向后退缩，大大蒙羞。

那倚靠雕刻之像的、那對鑄造的像說：『你們是我們的神』的，這種人必退後，全然蒙羞。

那些依靠雕刻的偶像，對鑄造的偶像說『你們是我們的神』的，都必向後退縮，大大蒙羞。

凡恃雕像、對鑄像云、爾為我神、必皆退而愧怍、○

凡恃偶像、稱金鑄之形為上帝者、必蒙愧怍、必駭而奔。

凡恃偶像、向金鑄之形像曰、爾乃我之神、此人必退後蒙羞、○

But those who trust in idols, who say to images,‘ You are our gods,’ will be turned back in utter shame.

Some people trust in statues of gods. They say to them,‘ You are our gods.’ But they will be dishonored. They will be put to shame.

They are turned back and utterly put to shame, who trust in carved idols, who say to metal images,“ You are our gods.”

But those who trust in idols, who say,‘ You are our gods,’ will be turned away in shame.

They will be turned back and utterly ashamed— those who trust in an idol and say to a cast image,‘ You are our gods!’

They will be turned back and be utterly put to shame, Who trust in idols, Who say to cast metal images,“ You are our gods.”

They shall be turned back, They shall be greatly ashamed, Who trust in carved images, Who say to the molded images,‘ You are our gods.’

They shall be turned back, they shall be utterly put to shame, that trust in graven images, that say unto molten images, Ye are our gods.

They will be turned back and utterly ashamed— those who trust in idols and say to metal-plated images: You are our gods!

They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye[ are] our gods.

Those who trust in idols will turn back and be utterly humiliated, those who say to metal images,‘ You are our gods.’”

“ Those who trust in engraved images, who tell molten images,‘ You are our gods,’ will be turned back. They will be utterly disappointed.

愿所有事奉雕刻偶像、靠虚无神明自夸的，都蒙羞愧。万神哪，你们都当拜他。

那等人必因所喜爱的圣树抱愧；你们必因所选择的园子蒙羞，

看哪，他的同伙都必羞愧。工匠不过是人，任他们聚集，任他们站立吧！他们都必惧怕，一同羞愧。

然后又用剩下的一半做了一个神明，就是雕刻的偶像，向这偶像俯伏叩拜，向它祷告说：“求你拯救我，因你是我的神明。”

他们这么快偏离了我所吩咐的道，为自己铸了一头牛犊，向它跪拜，向它献祭，说：‘以色列啊，这就是领你出埃及地的神明。’”

“贼被捉拿，怎样羞愧，以色列家和他们的君王、官长、祭司、先知也都照样羞愧。他们向木头说：‘你是我的父’；向石头说：‘你是生我的。’他们以背向我，不肯以面向我；及至遭遇患难时却说：‘起来拯救我们吧！’

亚伦从他们手里接过来，用模子塑造它，把它铸成一头牛犊。他们就说：“以色列啊，这是领你出埃及地的神明！”

制造偶像的都要抱愧蒙羞，他们要一同归于惭愧。惟有以色列必蒙耶和华拯救，得永远的救恩。你们必不蒙羞，也不抱愧，直到永世无尽。

偶像有什么益处呢？制造者雕刻它，铸成偶像，作虚假的教师；制造者倚靠的是自己所做的哑巴偶像。祸哉！那对木头说“醒起”，对哑巴石头说“起来”的人！偶像岂能教导人呢？看哪，它以金银包裹，其中并无气息。惟耶和华在他的圣殿中，全地都当在他面前肃静。
