Israel is blind. So I will lead them along paths they had not known before. I will guide them on roads they are not familiar with. I will turn the darkness into light as they travel. I will make the rough places smooth. Those are the things I will do. I will not desert my people.

爾其興起炫耀、蓋爾光已至、耶和華之榮著於爾上矣、幽暗將蒙大地、晦冥將蔽兆民、惟耶和華必起而臨爾、其榮顯於爾中、

贖爾之耶和華、以色列之聖者曰、我乃爾之上帝耶和華、我訓誨爾、俾爾獲益、導爾於當行之途、

其人追敵、於彼足跡未經之途、安然而往、

上帝所預知者、又預定效其子之狀、使為眾兄弟中之冢子、其所預定者召之、召者義之、義者榮之、○如是、將何言耶、若上帝佑我、誰能敵我、

中心昏謬者得聰慧、怨尤者受教誨焉、

爾之子女、將蒙耶和華之教、眾子大獲平康、

相距約二千肘、不可近前、藉知當行之途、昔爾所未行者、

主所愛之兄弟、我當為爾恆謝上帝、以其自始選爾得救、聖之以神、真理是信也、緣此、上帝曾以我儕之福音召爾、俾得我主耶穌基督之榮、

曲者不能直、缺者不能數、

謂之曰、我將為爾先導、平治崎嶇、碎銅門、折鐵楗、

我將誘掖之、導之於野、以善言慰之、

當考上帝之作為、彼所曲者、孰能直之、

爾曹見其所行所為、必得慰藉、亦知我所行於耶路撒冷者、非出無因、主耶和華言之矣、

維時、瞽者目啟、聾者耳通、

故我將以棘塞其路、築垣墉以闌之、俾不得其徑、
