公平就必居在旷野中，公义必住在肥田里。

基达的羊群都必聚集到你那里，尼拜约的公羊要供你使用；它们必献在我的祭坛上，成为蒙悦纳的祭品。我要荣耀我荣耀的殿。

我要在光秃的高处开辟江河，在山谷之间开辟泉源；我要使旷野变为水池，使干地变成水泉。我要在旷野种上香柏树、皂荚树、番石榴树和野橄榄树；我要在沙漠中栽种松树、杉树和黄杨树，

看哪！那传报佳音、宣告和平之人的脚，已经站在山上，说：犹大啊！守你的节期，还你的愿吧！因为那奸恶的人永不会再从你中间经过；他已被彻底除灭了。（本节在《马索拉文本》为2:1）

主对我这样说：“按照雇工的年数，一年之内，基达的一切光荣都必化为乌有。

你们要把羊羔送给那地的掌权者，从西拉经过旷野，送到锡安居民（“居民”原文作“女子”）的山。

我寄居在米设，住在基达的帐棚中，有祸了。

那传福音、宣布平安、传美好的福音、宣布救恩，又对锡安说“你的神作王了”的，他的脚踪在山上多么的美！

耶和华回答她：“两国在你肚里，两族从你腹中要分出来；将来这族必强过那族，大的要服事小的。”

“看哪！我要作一件新的事；现在它要发生了，难道你们还不知道吗？我要在旷野开一条道路，在荒地开挖江河。

摩押的居民哪！你们要离弃城镇，住在山岩里，像鸽子在峡谷的边上筑巢。

有声音呼喊说：“你们要在旷野清理耶和华的路，在沙漠修直我们神的大道。

旷野和干旱之地必欢喜；沙漠要快乐，又像番红花一般开花，

你那令人战栗的威风，你心中的傲气欺骗了你；你这住在岩石的隐密处，雄据山岭高处的啊！你虽如鹰在高处搭窝，我也必把你从那里拉下来。”这是耶和华的宣告。

看哪！在山谷上、在岩石平原上的耶路撒冷啊！我要攻击你。’这是耶和华的宣告。‘你们说：谁能下来攻击我们，谁能进入我们的住处呢？

你心中的傲气欺骗了你；你这住在岩石的隐密处，居所在高处的啊！你心里说：“谁能把我拉下地呢？”
