Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands, and all who live in them.

Sing a new song to the Lord. Sing praise to him from one end of the earth to the other. Sing, you who sail out on the ocean. Sing, all you creatures in it. Sing, you islands. Sing, all you who live there.

and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written,“ Therefore I will give praise to you among the Gentiles and sing to your name.”Again he says,“ Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”Again,“ Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Let all the peoples praise him.”

Sing to Yahweh a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.Yahweh has made known his salvation. He has openly shown his righteousness in the sight of the nations.He has remembered his loving kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.Make a joyful noise to Yahweh, all the earth! Burst out and sing for joy, yes, sing praises!

Sing, heavens, and be joyful, earth! Break out into singing, mountains, for Yahweh has comforted his people, and will have compassion on his afflicted.

Praise Yahweh, all you nations! Extol him, all you peoples!For his loving kindness is great toward us. Yahweh’s faithfulness endures forever. Praise Yah!

Sing, you heavens, for Yahweh has done it! Shout, you lower parts of the earth! Break out into singing, you mountains, O forest, all of your trees, for Yahweh has redeemed Jacob, and will glorify himself in Israel.

Yahweh reigns! Let the earth rejoice! Let the multitude of islands be glad!

These shall lift up their voice. They will shout for the majesty of Yahweh. They cry aloud from the sea.Therefore glorify Yahweh in the east, even the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea!From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs. Glory to the righteous! But I said,“ I pine away! I pine away! woe is me!” The treacherous have dealt treacherously. Yes, the treacherous have dealt very treacherously.

Yahweh will be awesome to them, for he will famish all the gods of the land. Men will worship him, everyone from his place, even all the shores of the nations.

Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in great waters;These see Yahweh’s deeds, and his wonders in the deep.For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble.They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress.He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven.Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds for the children of men!Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.

Indeed, he says,“ It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel. I will also give you as a light to the nations, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth.”

Sing to Yahweh a new song! Sing to Yahweh, all the earth.Sing to Yahweh! Bless his name! Proclaim his salvation from day to day!Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples.

They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty- four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth.

Let everything that has breath praise Yah! Praise Yah!

My righteousness is near. My salvation has gone out, and my arms will judge the peoples. The islands will wait for me, and they will trust my arm.

Surely the islands will wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of Yahweh your God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you.

Behold, my servants will sing for joy of heart, but you will cry for sorrow of heart, and will wail for anguish of spirit.

They sang a new song, saying,“ You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals: for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood out of every tribe, language, people, and nation,

Praise him, all you shining stars!Praise him, you heavens of heavens, you waters that are above the heavens.Let them praise Yahweh’s name, for he commanded, and they were created.He has also established them forever and ever. He has made a decree which will not pass away.Praise Yahweh from the earth, you great sea creatures, and all depths;lightning and hail, snow and clouds; stormy wind, fulfilling his word;mountains and all hills; fruit trees and all cedars;wild animals and all livestock; small creatures and flying birds;kings of the earth and all peoples; princes and all judges of the earth;both young men and maidens; old men and children:let them praise Yahweh’s name, for his name alone is exalted. His glory is above the earth and the heavens.He has lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints, even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise Yah!

Let the sea roar, and its fullness! Let the field exult, and all that is in it!
