“ Behold, my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights: I have put my Spirit on him. He will bring justice to the nations.

“ Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations.

“ Here is my servant. I take good care of him. I have chosen him. I am very pleased with him. I will put my Spirit on him. He will bring justice to the nations.

Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the nations.

“ Look at my servant, whom I strengthen. He is my chosen one, who pleases me. I have put my Spirit upon him. He will bring justice to the nations.

“ This is my servant; I strengthen him, this is my chosen one; I delight in him. I have put my Spirit on him; he will bring justice to the nations.

“ Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My chosen one in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations.

“ Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

Behold, my servant, whom I uphold; my chosen, in whom my soul delighteth: I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

“ This is My Servant; I strengthen Him, this is My Chosen One; I delight in Him. I have put My Spirit on Him; He will bring justice to the nations.

Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect,[ in whom] my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

“ Here is my servant whom I support, my chosen one in whom I take pleasure. I have placed my spirit on him; he will make just decrees for the nations.

Behold, my servant will deal wisely. He will be exalted and lifted up, and will be very high.

“ Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; my beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit on him. He will proclaim justice to the nations.He will not strive, nor shout; neither will anyone hear his voice in the streets.He won’t break a bruised reed. He won’t quench a smoking flax, until he leads justice to victory.In his name, the nations will hope.”

but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.

and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form like a dove on him; and a voice came out of the sky, saying“ You are my beloved Son. In you I am well pleased.”

“ You are my witnesses,” says Yahweh,“ With my servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, neither will there be after me.

The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound,

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying,“ This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”

Jesus, when he was baptized, went up directly from the water: and behold, the heavens were opened to him. He saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming on him.Behold, a voice out of the heavens said,“ This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

The Lord Yahweh has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with words him who is weary. He awakens morning by morning, he awakens my ear to hear as those who are taught.The Lord Yahweh has opened my ear. I was not rebellious. I have not turned back.I gave my back to those who beat me, and my cheeks to those who plucked off the hair. I didn’t hide my face from shame and spitting.For the Lord Yahweh will help me. Therefore I have not been confounded. Therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I won’t be disappointed.He who justifies me is near. Who will bring charges against me? Let us stand up together. Who is my adversary? Let him come near to me.Behold, the Lord Yahweh will help me! Who is he who will condemn me? Behold, they will all grow old like a garment. The moths will eat them up.

“ As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says Yahweh.“ My Spirit who is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your offspring, nor out of the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says Yahweh,“ from now on and forever.”

“ But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham my friend,

coming to him, a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, precious.

Because it is contained in Scripture,“ Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen and precious: He who believes in him will not be disappointed.”

He said to me,“ You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”But I said,“ I have labored in vain. I have spent my strength in vain for nothing; yet surely the justice due to me is with Yahweh, and my reward with my God.”Now Yahweh, he who formed me from the womb to be his servant, says to bring Jacob again to him, and to gather Israel to him, for I am honorable in Yahweh’s eyes, and my God has become my strength.Indeed, he says,“ It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel. I will also give you as a light to the nations, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth.”Yahweh, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, says to him whom man despises, to him whom the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers:“ Kings shall see and rise up, princes, and they shall worship, because of Yahweh who is faithful, even the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”Yahweh says,“ I have answered you in an acceptable time. I have helped you in a day of salvation. I will preserve you and give you for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritage,

For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God gives the Spirit without measure.

After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light and be satisfied. My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself; and he will bear their iniquities.

even Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love,

to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely gave us favor in the Beloved,

even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without defect before him in love,

To me, the very least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

But the Lord said to him,“ Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the children of Israel.

A voice came out of the cloud, saying,“ This is my beloved Son. Listen to him!”

Yahweh’s Spirit will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh.His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;but he will judge the poor with righteousness, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.Righteousness will be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his waist.

Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.”

delivering you from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom I send you,to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

Immediately coming up from the water, he saw the heavens parting, and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.A voice came out of the sky,“ You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Hear now, Joshua the high priest, you and your fellows who sit before you; for they are men who are a sign: for, behold, I will bring out my servant, the Branch.

He will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples. They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

“ Be it known therefore to you, that the salvation of God is sent to the nations, and they will listen.”

Then you spoke in vision to your saints, and said,“ I have given strength to the warrior. I have exalted a young man from the people.I have found David, my servant. I have anointed him with my holy oil,

Behold, the time is coming, yes, and has now come, that you will be scattered, everyone to his own place, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

Now I say that Christ has been made a servant of the circumcision for the truth of God, that he might confirm the promises given to the fathers,and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written,“ Therefore I will give praise to you among the Gentiles and sing to your name.”Again he says,“ Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”Again,“ Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Let all the peoples praise him.”Again, Isaiah says,“ There will be the root of Jesse, he who arises to rule over the Gentiles; in him the Gentiles will hope.”Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.I myself am also persuaded about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish others.But I write the more boldly to you in part, as reminding you, because of the grace that was given to me by God,that I should be a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest of the Good News of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

John testified, saying,“ I have seen the Spirit descending like a dove out of heaven, and it remained on him.I didn’t recognize him, but he who sent me to baptize in water said to me,‘ On whomever you will see the Spirit descending and remaining on him is he who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’I have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God.”

When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying,“ Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life!”

Then justice will dwell in the wilderness; and righteousness will remain in the fruitful field.

For from the rising of the sun even to its going down, my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering: for my name is great among the nations,” says Yahweh of Armies.
