我從北方興起一人；他從日出之地而來，他必呼求我的名。他必把掌權者像泥土一樣踐踏，如同陶匠踹踏陶泥。

我自北方興起一人、呼籲我名、彼自日出之鄉而至、將踐牧伯如土、若陶人之躪泥、

我使義人崛興、自北而至、亦在日出之鄉、以籲我名、糜爛牧伯、如匠人之擣土、如陶人之躪泥、

惟彼籲籲或作宣告我名者、我激之來自北方、自日出之鄉而至、以蹂躪侯伯、猶如泥土、如陶人之踐泥然、

“ I have stirred up one from the north, and he comes— one from the rising sun who calls on my name. He treads on rulers as if they were mortar, as if he were a potter treading the clay.

“ I have stirred up a king who will come from the north. He lives in the east. He will bring honor to me. He walks all over rulers as if they were mud. He steps on them just as a potter stomps on clay.

I stirred up one from the north, and he has come, from the rising of the sun, and he shall call upon my name; he shall trample on rulers as on mortar, as the potter treads clay.

“ But I have stirred up a leader who will approach from the north. From the east he will call on my name. I will give him victory over kings and princes. He will trample them as a potter treads on clay.

“ I have stirred up one from the north, and he has come, one from the east who invokes my name. He will march over rulers as if they were mud, like a potter who treads the clay.

“ I have put one from the north into motion, and he has come; From the rising of the sun he will call on My name; And he will come upon rulers as upon mortar, As the potter treads on clay.”

“ I have raised up one from the north, And he shall come; From the rising of the sun he shall call on My name; And he shall come against princes as though mortar, As the potter treads clay.

I have raised up one from the north, and he is come; from the rising of the sun one that calleth upon my name: and he shall come upon rulers as upon mortar, and as the potter treadeth clay.

“ I have raised up one from the north, and he has come, one from the east who invokes My name. He will march over rulers as if they were mud, like a potter who treads the clay.

I have stirred up one out of the north and he advances, one from the eastern horizon who prays in my name. He steps on rulers as if they were clay, like a potter treading the clay.

“ I have raised up one from the north, and he has come, from the rising of the sun, one who calls on my name, and he shall come on rulers as on mortar, and as the potter treads clay.

谁从东方兴起一人，凭公义召他来到脚前呢？耶和华将列国交给他，使他管辖君王，把他们如灰尘交与他的刀，如风吹的碎秸交与他的弓。

我捣碎他们，如同地上的灰尘，践踏他们，四散在地，如同街上的泥土。

我要打发他攻击亵渎的国民，吩咐他攻击我所恼怒的百姓，抢财为掳物，夺货为掠物，将他们践踏，像街上的泥土一样。

那时我的仇敌，就是曾对我说“耶和华你神在哪里”的，他一看见这事就被羞愧遮盖。我必亲眼见他遭报；他必被践踏，如同街上的泥土。

他们必如勇士在阵上将仇敌践踏在街上的泥土中。他们必争战，因为耶和华与他们同在；骑马的也必羞愧。

我凭公义兴起居鲁士，又要修直他一切道路。他必建造我的城，释放我被掳的民；不是为工价，也不是为赏赐。这是万军之耶和华说的。”

要在境内竖立大旗，在各国中吹角，使列国预备攻击巴比伦，将亚拉腊、米尼、亚实基拿各国招来攻击他；又派军长来攻击他，使马匹上来如蚂蚱，使列国和玛代君王，与省长和副省长，并他们所管全地之人，都预备攻击他。地必震动而瘠苦；因耶和华向巴比伦所定的旨意成立了，使巴比伦之地荒凉，无人居住。

令人凄惨的异象已默示于我。诡诈的行诡诈，毁灭的行毁灭。以拦哪，你要上去！玛代啊，你要围困！主说：“我使一切叹息止住。”

“波斯王居鲁士如此说：‘耶和华天上的神已将天下万国赐给我，又嘱咐我在犹大的耶路撒冷为他建造殿宇。在你们中间凡作他子民的，可以上犹大的耶路撒冷，在耶路撒冷重建耶和华以色列神的殿（只有他是神）。愿神与这人同在。

论居鲁士说：‘他是我的牧人，必成就我所喜悦的，必下令建造耶路撒冷，发命立稳圣殿的根基。’”我耶和华所膏的居鲁士；我搀扶他的右手，使列国降伏在他面前。我也要放松列王的腰带，使城门在他面前敞开，不得关闭。我对他如此说：“我必在你前面行，修平崎岖之地。我必打破铜门，砍断铁闩。我要将暗中的宝物和隐密的财宝赐给你，使你知道提名召你的，就是我耶和华以色列的神。因我仆人雅各，我所拣选以色列的缘故，我就提名召你；你虽不认识我，我也加给你名号。我是耶和华，在我以外并没有别神；除了我以外再没有神。你虽不认识我，我必给你束腰。从日出之地到日落之处使人都知道除了我以外，没有别神。我是耶和华；在我以外并没有别神。

因有一国从北方上来攻击他，使他的地荒凉，无人居住，连人带牲畜都逃走了。”

我从起初指明末后的事，从古时言明未成的事，说：‘我的筹算必立定；凡我所喜悦的，我必成就。’我召鸷鸟从东方来，召那成就我筹算的人从远方来。我已说出，也必成就；我已谋定，也必做成。
