我从北方兴起一人，他就来了；他从日出之地而来，呼求我的名；他必来践踏掌权的，好像践踏灰泥，又像陶匠踹泥一样。

“我从北方兴起一人；他是求告我名的，从日出之地而来。他必临到掌权的，好像临到灰泥，仿佛窑匠踹泥一样。

我從北方興起一人；他從日出之地而來，他必呼求我的名。他必把掌權者像泥土一樣踐踏，如同陶匠踹踏陶泥。

我自北方興起一人、呼籲我名、彼自日出之鄉而至、將踐牧伯如土、若陶人之躪泥、

我使義人崛興、自北而至、亦在日出之鄉、以籲我名、糜爛牧伯、如匠人之擣土、如陶人之躪泥、

惟彼籲籲或作宣告我名者、我激之來自北方、自日出之鄉而至、以蹂躪侯伯、猶如泥土、如陶人之踐泥然、

“ I have stirred up one from the north, and he comes— one from the rising sun who calls on my name. He treads on rulers as if they were mortar, as if he were a potter treading the clay.

“ I have stirred up a king who will come from the north. He lives in the east. He will bring honor to me. He walks all over rulers as if they were mud. He steps on them just as a potter stomps on clay.

I stirred up one from the north, and he has come, from the rising of the sun, and he shall call upon my name; he shall trample on rulers as on mortar, as the potter treads clay.

“ But I have stirred up a leader who will approach from the north. From the east he will call on my name. I will give him victory over kings and princes. He will trample them as a potter treads on clay.

“ I have stirred up one from the north, and he has come, one from the east who invokes my name. He will march over rulers as if they were mud, like a potter who treads the clay.

“ I have put one from the north into motion, and he has come; From the rising of the sun he will call on My name; And he will come upon rulers as upon mortar, As the potter treads on clay.”

“ I have raised up one from the north, And he shall come; From the rising of the sun he shall call on My name; And he shall come against princes as though mortar, As the potter treads clay.

I have raised up one from the north, and he is come; from the rising of the sun one that calleth upon my name: and he shall come upon rulers as upon mortar, and as the potter treadeth clay.

“ I have raised up one from the north, and he has come, one from the east who invokes My name. He will march over rulers as if they were mud, like a potter who treads the clay.

I have stirred up one out of the north and he advances, one from the eastern horizon who prays in my name. He steps on rulers as if they were clay, like a potter treading the clay.

“ I have raised up one from the north, and he has come, from the rising of the sun, one who calls on my name, and he shall come on rulers as on mortar, and as the potter treads clay.

谁从东方激动了一个人，凭公义把他召到自己的脚前来？他把列国交在他面前，他制伏众王；他使他们在他的刀下化作灰尘，他使他们在他的弓下像碎秸一样被吹散。

我捣碎他们，像地上的尘土；我打碎他们，践踏他们，像街上的烂泥。

我要差派他去攻击一个不敬虔的国，吩咐他去攻击我恼怒的子民，掳去掠物，抢夺掳物，把他们践踏，像街上的泥土一样。

我的仇敌看见了，就必蒙羞，就是那曾经对我说：“耶和华你的神在哪里”的人，我必亲眼看见他遭报；那时，他必被人践踏，好像街上的泥土。

他们必像勇士，在战场上把仇敌践踏在街上的泥土中，他们必争战，因为耶和华与他们同在，他们必使敌方的骑士羞愧。

我凭着公义兴起了古列，我必修平他的一切道路；他必建造我的城，释放我被掳的子民，不必用工价，也不用赏赐，这是万军之耶和华说的。”

“你们要在地上竖起旗帜，在列国中吹号角，使列国作好准备攻击巴比伦，把亚拉腊、米尼、亚实基拿等国召来攻击她，又指派元帅来攻击她，使马匹像蝗虫汹涌上来。你们要使列国作好准备攻击她，使玛代诸王，和她的省长、总监，以及他们辖下各地的人民都作好准备攻击她。大地震动翻腾，因为耶和华攻击巴比伦所定的旨意立定不移，要使巴比伦的地荒凉，没有人居住。

我被指示去看一个惨酷的异象：那行诡诈的仍然行诡诈，那行破坏的仍然行破坏。以拦哪，上去吧！玛代啊，围攻吧！我要使一切叹息止住。

“波斯王古列这样说：‘耶和华天上的神已经把地上万国赐给我。他指派我在犹大的耶路撒冷为他建造殿宇。你们中间凡是他的子民，愿神与他同在的，都可以上犹大的耶路撒冷去，建造耶和华以色列的神的殿，他是在耶路撒冷受敬拜的神。

我对古列说：‘我的牧人；他必成就我所喜悦的一切。’他要对耶路撒冷说：‘你必被重建起来！’他必对圣殿说：‘你的根基要奠定！’”“我耶和华所膏立的古列，我紧握着他的右手，使列国降服在他面前；我也松开列王的腰带；我使门户在他面前敞开，使城门不得关闭；耶和华对古列这样说：我必亲自领导你，把高低不平的路修平；铜门，我必打破；铁门，我必砍断。我必把隐藏的宝物和在隐密处的财宝赐给你，使你知道我就是按着你的名呼召了你的耶和华，以色列的神。因我的仆人雅各和我所拣选的以色列的缘故，我按着你的名呼召了你；你虽然不认识我，我却给你这个尊贵的名号。“我是耶和华，再没有别的神了；除了我以外，并没有真神；你虽然不认识我，我必坚固你，为要叫从日出之地到日落之地的人都知道，除了我以外，没有真神；我是耶和华，再没有别的神了。

因为有一个国家从北方来攻击它，使它的地荒凉；没有人在那里居住，人畜都逃跑无踪。

我从起初就宣告末后的事，从古时就述说还未作成的事，说：‘我的计划必定成功，我所喜悦的，我都必作成。’我把鸷鸟从日出之地召来，就是把成就我计划的人从远方召来。我不但说了，而且也要使我的话实现；我不但计划好了，而且也必实行。
