他使曠野變為水潭，叫旱地變為水泉。

那時，瘸子必跳躍像鹿；啞巴的舌頭必能歌唱。在曠野必有水發出；在沙漠必有河湧流。發光的沙要變為水池；乾渴之地要變為泉源。在野狗躺臥之處，必有青草、蘆葦，和蒲草。

他帶我回到殿門，見殿的門檻下有水往東流出（原來殿面朝東）。這水從檻下，由殿的右邊，在祭壇的南邊往下流。他帶我出北門，又領我從外邊轉到朝東的外門，見水從右邊流出。他手拿準繩往東出去的時候，量了一千肘，使我蹚過水，水到踝子骨。他又量了一千肘，使我蹚過水，水就到膝；再量了一千肘，使我蹚過水，水便到腰；又量了一千肘，水便成了河，使我不能蹚過。因為水勢漲起，成為可洑的水，不可蹚的河。他對我說：「人子啊，你看見了甚麼？」他就帶我回到河邊。我回到河邊的時候，見在河這邊與那邊的岸上有極多的樹木。他對我說：「這水往東方流去，必下到亞拉巴，直到海。所發出來的水必流入鹽海，使水變甜。

耶和華也必時常引導你，在乾旱之地使你心滿意足，骨頭強壯。你必像澆灌的園子，又像水流不絕的泉源。

在大行殺戮的日子，高臺倒塌的時候，各高山岡陵必有川流河湧。

因為寶座中的羔羊必牧養他們，領他們到生命水的泉源；神也必擦去他們一切的眼淚。」

因為我要將水澆灌口渴的人，將河澆灌乾旱之地。我要將我的靈澆灌你的後裔，將我的福澆灌你的子孫。

看哪，我要做一件新事；如今要發現，你們豈不知道嗎？我必在曠野開道路，在沙漠開江河。野地的走獸必尊重我；野狗和鴕鳥也必如此。因我使曠野有水，使沙漠有河，好賜給我的百姓、我的選民喝。

那日，必有活水從耶路撒冷出來，一半往東海流，一半往西海流；冬夏都是如此。

天使又指示我在城內街道當中一道生命水的河，明亮如水晶，從神和羔羊的寶座流出來。

到那日，大山要滴甜酒；小山要流奶子；猶大溪河都有水流。必有泉源從耶和華的殿中流出來，滋潤什亭谷。

耶和華引導他們經過沙漠。他們並不乾渴；他為他們使水從磐石而流，分裂磐石，水就湧出。

必有一人像避風所和避暴雨的隱密處，又像河流在乾旱之地，像大磐石的影子在疲乏之地。

所以，你們必從救恩的泉源歡然取水。

他在曠野分裂磐石，多多地給他們水喝，如從深淵而出。他使水從磐石湧出，叫水如江河下流。

有一道河，這河的分汊使神的城歡喜；這城就是至高者居住的聖所。

他打開磐石，水就湧出；在乾旱之處，水流成河。
