You will winnow them, the wind will pick them up, and a gale will blow them away. But you will rejoice in the Lord and glory in the Holy One of Israel.

You will toss them in the air. A strong wind will catch them and blow them away. You will be glad because I will make that happen. You will praise me. I am the Holy One of Israel.

降災之日、我必遣人圍巴比倫、使其邦國空虛、若舉扇揮塵、

耶和華與、爾為我之上帝、吾揄揚爾、頌美爾、爾施異跡、自昔以來、言出惟行、爾使城垣、變為瓦礫、異邦都邑、一圮不振、故昌大之國、強悍之民、必虔共寅畏、讚美乎爾、

郇邑之民、大聲而呼、以色列之聖主、居其中、至大無比。

其餘我散之邑門、若舉扇揮塵、喪其子女、猶不悛改、必加殲滅、

上帝感爾、俾宗基督耶穌、而智由以成、義由以稱、聖由以作、罪由以贖、其實皆由上帝也、經云、誇者、當以主而誇也、

曰我恃耶和華、仁義堪稱、膂力可得、凡人必詣主前、逆之者、必生愧怍、以色列族恃耶和華而稱義、歸榮於主。

耶和華曰、賢者毋自其誇賢、能者毋自矜其能、富者毋自炫其富。我耶和華施仁義於天下、言出惟行、以此為悅、如爾識我耶和華、則可自詡。

馬利亞曰、我心惟主為大、我神悅救我之上帝、

哈拿禱曰、我心悅耶和華、耶和華使我勝敵、故我角崢嶸、我口孔張、因得其救、我心欣喜。耶和華至聖、惟一無二、我上帝至能、孰堪比儗。

我猶賴我之上帝耶和華、欣喜懽忭、

維彼惡者、猶之秕糠、為風飄揚。

我儕心事上帝、以基督耶穌為悅、不恃儀文、是真受割禮者、

不第此、賴吾主耶穌基督而克與之親、故我儕喜上帝、

其手執箕、盡簸厥禾場、斂穀入倉、而燒糠以不滅之火、○

選民曰、我之上帝耶和華、錫我純嘏、加我仁義、若衣麗服、若被長衣、譬彼新娶者、冠以美冠、譬彼新婦、飾以實物、我蒙福祉、不覺踊躍、欣喜不勝。譬諸土壤萌芽、園囿甲坼、主耶和華必使仁義萌芽、列國頌揚之亦若是。
