No sooner are they planted, no sooner are they sown, no sooner do they take root in the ground, than he blows on them and they wither, and a whirlwind sweeps them away like chaff.

耶和华说：‘看哪，我必使灾祸临到你，把你除灭。以色列中凡属亚哈的男丁，无论是奴役的、自由的，我都要剪除。我必使你的家像尼八的儿子耶罗波安的家，又像亚希雅的儿子巴沙的家，因为你惹我发怒，又使以色列陷入罪里。’

因此，他们必如早晨的云雾，又如速散的露水，如被狂风吹离禾场的糠秕，又如烟囱冒出的烟。

耶和华如此说：“要把这人登记为无子，是平生不得亨通的人；因为他后裔中再无一人得亨通，能坐在大卫的宝座上治理犹大。”

耶和华要显现在他们身上，他的箭要射出如闪电。主耶和华必吹角，乘南方的旋风而行。

耶和华已经发命令，指着你说：“你的名下必不再留后；我要从你神明的庙中除灭雕刻的偶像和铸造的偶像，我必因你的卑贱，为你预备坟墓。”

耶和华吹一口气，草就枯干，花也凋谢。百姓诚然是草；

我必以旋风将他们吹散到素不认识的万国中。他们离开以后，地就荒凉，无人来往经过；他们使美好之地荒凉了。”

凡亚哈家在耶斯列所剩下的，他的大臣、密友、祭司，耶户全都杀了，没有留下一个幸存者。

耶和华的斥责一发，鼻孔的气一出，海底就显现，大地的根基也暴露。

他在弟兄中虽然旺盛，却有东风刮来，就是耶和华的风从旷野上来。他的泉源必干涸，他的源头必枯竭，这风必夺走他所积蓄的一切宝物。

你们盼望多得，看哪，所得的却少；你们收到家中，我就吹去。这是为什么呢？因为我的殿荒凉，你们各人却只为自己的房屋奔走。这是万军之耶和华说的。

下边，他的根要枯干；上边，他的枝子要剪除。他的称号从地上消失，他的名字不在街上存留。他必从光明中被驱逐到黑暗里，他必被赶出世界。他在自己百姓中必无子无孙，在寄居之地也没有幸存者。

你们用荆棘烧火，锅还未热，神就用旋风把未烧着的和已烧着的一齐刮去。

他不得脱离黑暗，火焰要把他的嫩枝烧干；因神口中的气，他要离去。不要让他倚靠虚假，欺骗自己，因虚假必成为他的报应。他的日期未到之先，这事必实现；他的枝子不得青绿。他必像葡萄树，葡萄未熟就掉落；又像橄榄树，一开花就凋谢。

却要以公义审判贫寒人，以正直判断地上的困苦人，以口中的棍击打全地，以嘴里的气杀戮恶人。

看哪！耶和华的暴风在震怒中发出，是旋转的暴风，必转到恶人头上。

他们何尝像风前的碎秸，如暴风刮去的糠秕呢？

为了祖先的罪孽，要预备他子孙的屠宰场，免得他们兴起，夺得全地，使城市遍满地面。”万军之耶和华说：“我必起来攻击他们，将巴比伦的名号和剩余的人，连子带孙一并剪除；这是耶和华说的。

神一嘘气，他们就灭亡；神一发怒，他们就消失。

看哪，因为我必惊动他的心，他要听见风声就归回本地，在那里我必使他倒在刀下。’”

栽种的日子，你使它生长，栽种的早晨，你使它开花，但在愁苦、极其伤痛的日子，所收割的都归无有。

原来陀斐特早已预备好了，是为君王预备的；又深又宽，堆满了火和木柴；耶和华的气息犹如一股硫磺使它燃起。
