No sooner are they planted, no sooner are they sown, no sooner do they take root in the ground, than he blows on them and they wither, and a whirlwind sweeps them away like chaff.

万族怒号，好像众水涌流，但神必斥责他们，使他们远远逃跑；他们又被追赶，如同山上风前的糠秕，又像暴风前的尘土卷动。

耶和华说：‘看哪，我必使灾祸临到你，除灭你的后代，在以色列中属亚哈的男丁，无论是自由的，或是不自由的，我都要除灭。我要使你的家像尼八的儿子耶罗波安的家，又像亚希雅的儿子巴沙的家，因为你惹我发怒，又因为你使以色列人陷在罪中。’

因此，他们必像早晨的云雾，又如易逝的朝露，又像打谷场上的糠秕被旋风吹去，又像烟气从烟囱上腾。

耶和华这样说：“你们要写下，这人算为无子，他的一生毫无成就；因为他的后裔中没有一人可以成功，能坐在大卫的王位上，再次统治犹大。”

耶和华必在他子民头上显现，他的箭必像闪电一般射出；主耶和华必吹起号角，乘着南方的暴风而行。

尼尼微啊！耶和华已经向你下了命令：你的名字必不再传于后世；我必从你的神庙中，除掉雕刻和铸造的偶像；我必为你预备坟墓，因为你没有存在的价值。

草必枯干，花必凋谢；因为耶和华的气吹在上面；真的，这民的确是草！

我用旋风把他们吹散到他们不认识的列国去，他们留下的地就荒凉了，以致无人来往经过，因为他们使这美好之地变为荒凉了。”

于是耶户击杀了亚哈家在耶斯列剩下的人，还有他所有的大臣、有关的人、祭司，没有一个给他存留。

耶和华的斥责一发，他鼻孔的气一出，海底就出现，大地的根基也显露。

他虽然在芦苇中长得茂盛，但东风必要来到，耶和华的风要从旷野上来，他的水泉就干涸，他的泉源就枯竭。他所贮藏的一切珍贵器皿，都被掠夺去了。

“你们期望丰收，反倒歉收；你们收到家里的，我就吹去。”为什么呢？万军之耶和华说：“因为我的殿宇荒废，你们各人却为自己的房屋奔驰。

他下面的根枯干，上面的枝子凋谢。他令人怀念的都从地上灭没，他的名字不再留存在田上。他们把他从光明中赶到黑暗里，又把他从世界中赶出去。在本族中他无子无孙，在他寄居之地，也没有生存的人。

你们用荆棘烧火，锅还未热，他要用旋风把烧着的和未烧着的一起刮去。

他不能离开黑暗，火焰必烧干他的嫩枝，他必因神口中的气而离去。他不信靠虚假，自己欺骗自己，因为虚假必成为他的报应。他的日期未到以先，这事必成全，他的枝子，也不青绿。他必像葡萄树未熟的葡萄掉落一样，又如橄榄树的花朵一开就谢一般。

却要以公义审判贫穷人，以正直判断地上的困苦人；以口中的杖击打世界，以嘴里的气杀死恶人。

看哪！耶和华的旋风，在震怒中发出，是旋转的狂风，必卷到恶人的头上。

他们何尝像风前的干草，何尝像暴风刮去的糠秕？

惊恐临到你们好像风暴，灾难如同飓风来临，患难困苦临到你们身上。

因为他们的祖宗犯了罪孽，你们要为他的子孙预备屠杀之处；不要让他们兴起来，占有地土，在世上布满城镇。”万军之耶和华说：“我必兴起攻击他们，把巴比伦的名号、所剩余的人，以及后裔子孙，都一同剪除。”这是耶和华说的。

他们因神的气息而灭亡，因他的怒气而消灭。

看哪！我必使灵进入他里面，以致他听见风声就归回本地；我必使他在那里倒在刀下。’”

又在你栽种的日子里，细心地在周围圈上篱笆，到早晨，又使你所栽种的开花，但在愁苦与极度伤痛的日子里，所收割的就只有一小堆。

因为陀斐特那烧着的火早已安排好了，是为君王预备的，又深又宽；其中所堆的，是火和许多的柴；耶和华的气像一股硫磺火，把它燃点起来。
