诸天宣扬他的公义，因为神自己就是审判者。（细拉）

“你们当记念这事，要坚定不移；悖逆的人哪！你们要留心思想。

我的手奠定了大地的根基，我的右手展开了诸天；我一呼唤它们，它们就一同站着侍候。

然而却未尝不为自己留下明证，就如常常行善事，从天上降下雨来，常常赏赐丰年，使你们吃喝充足，满心欢乐。”

神的事情，人所能知道的，在他们里面原是明显的，因为神已经向他们显明了。其实自从创世以来，神那看不见的事，就如他永恒的大能和神性，都是看得见的，就是从他所造的万物中可以领悟，叫人没有办法推诿。因为他们虽然知道神，却不尊他为神，也不感谢他，反而心思变为虚妄，愚顽的心就迷糊了。

做偶像的必和偶像一样；凡是倚靠它们的，都必这样。

他们既然故意不认识神，神就任凭他们存着败坏的心，去作那些不正当的事。

你忘记了造你的耶和华，就是那展开诸天，奠定大地的根基的；又因那欺压者准备行毁灭的时候所发的烈怒，你就终日不住惧怕呢？其实那欺压者的烈怒在哪里呢？

枝条枯干了，就必被折断；妇女必来，拿去生火，因为这人民愚昧无知，所以他们的创造主不怜悯他们，那造成他们的，不向他们施恩。

他所追求的只是灰尘，被迷惑了的心使他偏离正道了；他不能救自己，也不会说：“在我的右手中不是有个假神吗？”

这样说来，犹太人独特的地方在哪里呢？割礼又有什么益处呢？从各方面来说，的确很多。最重要的，是神的圣言已经托付了他们。

诸天述说神的荣耀，穹苍传扬他的作为。天天发出言语，夜夜传出知识。没有话语，没有言词，人也听不到它们的声音。它们的声音（按照《马索拉文本》，“声音”作“准绳”；现参照《七十士译本》等古译本翻译）传遍全地，它们的言语传到地极，神在它们中间为太阳安设帐幕。太阳如同新郎出洞房，又像勇士欢欢喜喜地跑路。

他们全是顽梗愚昧，他们所领受的教导是来自那些虚无、木做的偶像。那些偶像镶有经过锤炼的银片，银子是从他施运来的，也有从乌法运来的金子，都是匠人和金匠手作的产品。它们穿着蓝色和紫色的衣服，全都是巧匠的作品。只有耶和华是真神；他是永活的神，是永远的君王。他一发怒，大地就震动，万国都不能承受他的忿怒。你们要对他们这样说：“那些没有创造天地的神，必从地上、从天下消灭。”耶和华用自己的能力创造了大地，用自己的智慧坚立了世界，又用自己的聪明展开了诸天。
