歲首尼布甲尼撒遣人攜約雅斤、及耶和華室之珍器、至巴比倫、立約雅斤叔西底家、為猶大及耶路撒冷王、○

迦勒底軍執王、解至利比拉、巴比倫王所、而審鞫之、戮其諸子、使之目睹、抉其兩目、縶之以鏈、攜至巴比倫、○

謂悖逆之家云、斯事之旨、爾不知之乎、宜告之曰、巴比倫王至耶路撒冷、虜其君王牧伯、攜至巴比倫、揀其王子、與之立約、使之發誓、遷其境內強者、使國為卑、不復振興、但守盟約、猶可保存、惟彼叛巴比倫王、遣使至埃及、欲其給以馬匹軍旅、如是能亨通乎、行是事者、得免難乎、爽約能遠害乎、彼既藐其誓、爽其約、主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、彼必於立之為王者之都、與之同沒於巴比倫、其敵築壘建營、欲滅邑眾、法老雖率軍旅羣眾、亦不能助其戰、蓋王子既握手立約、乃藐誓爽約、必不能免難、主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、彼藐我誓、爽我約、我必以此罪歸於其首、必張我網於其上、陷之於我擭、曳至巴比倫、在彼鞫其逆我之罪、

凡脫於刃者、皆虜至巴比倫、為己與子孫之奴婢、迨及波斯國興、

俘約雅斤與其母、及后妃宦豎、暨國中顯者、自耶路撒冷至巴比倫、

抉西底家之目、縶之以鏈、欲攜至巴比倫、

故耶和華使亞述王之軍長來攻之、執瑪拿西、繫之以鏈、以鈎鈎之、攜至巴比倫、
