“ Go and speak to Hezekiah. Tell him,‘ The Lord, the God of King David, says,“ I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. I will add 15 years to your life.

“你去告诉希西迦，‘你祖先大卫的上帝耶和华说，我听见了你的祷告，也看见了你的眼泪，我要使你的寿命增加十五年。

“你去告诉希西家：‘耶和华你祖先大卫的神这样说：我听见了你的祷告，看见了你的眼泪；看哪！我必在你的寿数上加添十五年。

“你去告诉希西加：‘你先祖大卫的神耶和华如此说：我听到了你的祷告，看见了你的眼泪。看哪！我必在你的寿数上增添十五年。

「你去告訴希西家說，耶和華－你祖大衛的神如此說：我聽見了你的禱告，看見了你的眼淚。我必加增你十五年的壽數；

「你去告訴希西家說，耶和華－你祖先大衛的上帝如此說：『我聽見了你的禱告，看見了你的眼淚。看哪，我必加添你十五年的壽數；

「你去告訴希西家說，耶和華－你祖先大衛的神如此說：『我聽見了你的禱告，看見了你的眼淚。看哪，我必加添你十五年的壽數；

「你去告訴希西迦，『你祖先大衛的上帝耶和華說，我聽見了你的禱告，也看見了你的眼淚，我要使你的壽命增加十五年。

“你去告訴希西家：‘耶和華你祖先大衛的神這樣說：我聽見了你的禱告，看見了你的眼淚；看哪！我必在你的壽數上加添十五年。

『你去對希西家說：「永恆主你祖大衛的上帝這麼說：你的禱告我聽見了；你的眼淚我看見了；看吧，我必增加你在世的日子十五年。

「你去告訴希西加：『你先祖大衛的神耶和華如此說：我聽到了你的禱告，看見了你的眼淚。看哪！我必在你的壽數上增添十五年。

往告希西家曰、爾祖大衛之上帝耶和華云、我已聞爾禱、見爾淚、必增爾壽十五年、

爾當復入告希西家、爾祖大闢之上帝耶和華云、我聞爾祈禱、見爾出涕、將錫爾十五齡、

爾往告希西家曰、主爾祖大衛之天主如是云、我已聞爾禱、已見爾淚、我必增爾壽十五年、

“ Go and tell Hezekiah,‘ This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will add fifteen years to your life.

“ Go and say to Hezekiah, Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Behold, I will add fifteen years to your life.

“ Go back to Hezekiah and tell him,‘ This is what the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will add fifteen years to your life,

“ Go and tell Hezekiah,‘ This is what the LORD God of your ancestor David says: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Look, I am going to add fifteen years to your life.

“ Go and say to Hezekiah,‘ This is what the Lord, the God of your father David says:“ I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will add fifteen years to your life.

“ Go and tell Hezekiah,‘ Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father:“ I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years.

Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

“ Go and tell Hezekiah that this is what the Lord God of your ancestor David says: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Look, I am going to add 15 years to your life.

Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

“ Go and tell Hezekiah:‘ This is what the LORD God of your ancestor David says:“ I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Look, I will add fifteen years to your life,

“ Go, and tell Hezekiah,‘ Yahweh, the God of David your father, says,“ I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will add fifteen years to your life.

Make a record of my sadness. List my tears in your book. Aren’t you making a record of them?

The Lord pays special attention when his faithful people die.

Those who look to him have joyful faces. They are never covered with shame.This poor man called out, and the Lord heard him. He saved him out of all his troubles.

“ Lord, you are the God of Israel. Keep the promises you made to my father David. Do it for him. He was your servant. Here is what you said to him.‘ A son from your family line will sit before me on the throne of Israel. This will always be true if your children after you are careful in everything they do. They must live in my sight faithfully the way you have lived.’

While he was still young, he began to worship the God of King David. It was the eighth year of Josiah’s rule. In his 12th year Josiah began to get rid of the high places in Judah and Jerusalem. He removed the poles used to worship the female god named Asherah. He also removed the statues of other false gods.

Isaiah sent a message to Hezekiah. Isaiah was the son of Amoz. Isaiah said,“ The Lord is the God of Israel. The Lord says,‘ I have heard your prayer about Sennacherib, the king of Assyria.’

The angel said,‘ Do not be afraid, Paul. You must go on trial in front of Caesar. God has shown his grace by sparing the lives of all those sailing with you.’

He said,‘ I am the God of Abraham. I am the God of Isaac. And I am the God of Jacob.’( Exodus 3:6) He is not the God of the dead. He is the God of the living.”

He heals those who have broken hearts. He takes care of their wounds.

Sennacherib attacked and captured all the cities of Judah that had high walls around them. It was in the 14th year of the rule of Hezekiah. Sennacherib was king of Assyria.

The Lamb, who is at the center of the area around the throne, will be their shepherd.‘ He will lead them to springs of living water.’( Isaiah 49:10)‘ And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ ”( Isaiah 25:8)

Hezekiah was 25 years old when he became king. He ruled in Jerusalem for 29 years. His mother’s name was Abijah. She was the daughter of Zechariah.

You said,“ Here is the covenant I have made with my chosen one. Here is the promise I have made to my servant David.‘ I will make your family line continue forever. I will make your kingdom secure for all time to come.’ ”

But God comforts those who are sad. He comforted us when Titus came.

Then Isaiah said,“ Listen, you members of the royal family of David! Isn’t it enough for you to test the patience of human beings? Are you also going to test the patience of my God?The Lord himself will give you a sign. The virgin is going to have a baby. She will give birth to a son. And he will be called Immanuel.

Nathan replied to the king,“ Go ahead and do what you want to. The Lord is with you.”But that night the word of the Lord came to Nathan. The Lord said,“ Go and speak to my servant David. Tell him,‘ The Lord says,“ Are you the one to build me a house to live in?

“ But you must walk faithfully with me, just as your father David did. Your heart must be honest. It must be without blame. Do everything I command you to do. Obey my rules and laws.Then I will set up your royal throne over Israel forever. I promised your father David I would do that. I said to him,‘ You will always have a son from your family line on the throne of Israel.’

But the angel said to him,“ Do not be afraid, Zechariah. Your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will have a child. It will be a boy, and you must call him John.

But the Lord still kept the lamp of Abijah’s kingdom burning brightly in Jerusalem. He did it by giving him a son to be the next king after him. He also did it by making Jerusalem strong. The Lord did those things because of David.

Nathan replied to David,“ Do what you want to. God is with you.”But that night a message came to Nathan from God. He said,“ Go and speak to my servant David. Tell him,‘ The Lord says,“ You are not the one who will build me a house to live in.

You decide how long anyone will live. You have established the number of his months. You have set a limit to the number of his days.

But I will not do that while you are still living. Because of your father David I will wait. I will tear the kingdom out of your son’s hand.But I will not tear the whole kingdom away from him. I will give him one of the tribes because of my servant David. I will also do it because of Jerusalem. That is the city I have chosen.”

“ Lord, hear my prayer. Listen to my cry for help. Pay attention to my weeping. I’m like an outsider in your home. I’m just a stranger, like all my family who lived before me.
