I waited patiently till dawn, but like a lion he broke all my bones; day and night you made an end of me.

求你使我得听欢喜快乐的声音，使你所压伤的骨头可以踊跃。

王下令，把那些控告但以理的人和他们的妻子儿女都带来，扔在狮子坑中。他们还没有到坑底，狮子就制伏他们，咬碎他们的骨头。

求你从我身上免去你的责罚；因你手的责打，我就消灭。

我本是安逸，他折断我，掐住我的颈项，把我摔碎，又立我作他的箭靶。他的弓箭手围绕我。他刺破我的肾脏，并不留情，把我的胆汁倾倒在地上。他使我破裂，破裂又破裂，如同勇士向我直闯。

神人就去了，在路上有只狮子遇见他，把他咬死。他的尸体倒在路上，驴站在尸体旁边，狮子也站在尸体旁边。看哪，有人经过，看见尸体倒在路上，狮子站在尸体旁边，就来到老先知所住的城里述说这事。那带神人回来的先知听见了，就说：“这是那违背了耶和华指示的神人，所以耶和华把他交给狮子；狮子撕裂他，咬死他，正如耶和华对他说的话。”

“你们忘记上帝的，要思想这事，免得我把你们撕碎，无人搭救。

因此，在你们中间有好些软弱的与患病的，长眠了的也不少。我们若是先省察自己，就不至于受审判。我们受审判的时候，就是被主管教，这样就免得和世人一同被定罪。
