城中的居民軟弱無力，驚慌失措，羞愧難當，脆弱如野草和菜蔬，又像還未長大就被曬焦的房頂草。

所以其中的居民力量甚小，惊惶羞愧。他们像野草，像青菜，如房顶上的草，又如田间未长成的禾稼。

城里居民的力量甚小，他们惊惶羞愧；像野草，像青菜，如房顶上的草，被东风刮散。

因此，其中的居民软弱无力，惊惶羞愧，像田间的蔬菜和青绿的草，又像房顶上的草，还没有长起来，就干焦了。

那时城中的居民软弱无力，惊惶羞愧，像尚未长大就枯干的田间蔬草、青绿嫩草、屋顶上的草。

所以其中的居民力量甚小，驚惶羞愧。他們像野草，像青菜，如房頂上的草，又如田間未長成的禾稼。

城裏居民的力量甚小，他們驚惶羞愧；像野草，像青菜，如房頂上的草，被東風颳散。

城裏居民的力量甚小，他們驚惶羞愧；像野草，像青菜，如房頂上的草，被東風颳散。

因此，其中的居民軟弱無力，驚惶羞愧，像田間的蔬菜和青綠的草，又像房頂上的草，還沒有長起來，就乾焦了。

而其中的居民手力短缺，驚慌慚愧，像田間的菜蔬，像綠草之青青，如房頂上的草，被熱東風燒焦麼？

那時城中的居民軟弱無力，驚惶羞愧，像田間蔬草、青綠嫩草，像被東風吹焦的屋頂上的草。

故其居民力微、驚惶羞愧、如田草、如青蔬、如屋上之草、如未長之禾、

彼民荏弱、驚懼懷羞、如山野之蔬、屋上之草、未及其長、為風所暴、

故其中居民皆荏弱無力、驚惶羞愧、乃如田草、如青蔬、如屋上之草、如未成而槁之禾苗、

Their people, drained of power, are dismayed and put to shame. They are like plants in the field, like tender green shoots, like grass sprouting on the roof, scorched before it grows up.

Their people do not have any power left. They are troubled and put to shame. They are like plants in the field. They are like new green plants. They are like grass that grows on a roof. It dries up before it is completely grown.

while their inhabitants, shorn of strength, are dismayed and confounded, and have become like plants of the field and like tender grass, like grass on the housetops, blighted before it is grown.

That is why their people have so little power and are so frightened and confused. They are as weak as grass, as easily trampled as tender green shoots. They are like grass sprouting on a housetop, scorched before it can grow lush and tall.

Their inhabitants have become powerless, dismayed, and ashamed. They are plants of the field, tender grass, grass on the rooftops, blasted by the east wind.

Therefore their inhabitants were powerless, They were shattered and put to shame; They were like the vegetation of the field and the green grass, Like grass on the housetops that is scorched before it has grown.

Therefore their inhabitants had little power; They were dismayed and confounded; They were as the grass of the field And the green herb, As the grass on the housetops And grain blighted before it is grown.

Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as a field of grain before it is grown up.

Their inhabitants have become powerless, dismayed, and ashamed. They are plants of the field, tender grass, grass on the rooftops, blasted by the east wind.

Therefore their inhabitants[ were] of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were[ as] the grass of the field, and[ as] the green herb,[ as] the grass on the housetops, and[ as corn] blasted before it be grown up.

Their residents are powerless; they are terrified and ashamed. They are as short-lived as plants in the field or green vegetation. They are as short-lived as grass on the rooftops when it is scorched by the east wind.

Therefore their inhabitants had little power. They were dismayed and confounded. They were like the grass of the field, and like the green herb, like the grass on the housetops, and like a field before its crop has grown.

願他們像房頂的草，沒長起來就已枯萎，

你像急流一般把世人沖走，叫他們如夢消逝。他們像清晨的嫩草，清晨還生機盎然，傍晚就凋謝枯萎。

到那日，當萬軍之耶和華揮拳懲罰的時候，埃及人必恐懼戰抖，如柔弱的女子。

即使你們能打敗迦勒底全軍，他們營中受傷的殘兵也必起來燒毀這城。』」

有聲音說：「呼喊吧！」我問道：「我呼喊什麼呢？」那聲音說：「芸芸眾生盡如草，榮華富貴像野地的花。耶和華吹一口氣，草就枯乾，花也凋殘。人類誠然像草。草必枯乾，花必凋殘，唯有我們上帝的話永遠長存。」

世人的年日如同草芥，如野地茂盛的花，

城中的居民軟弱無力，驚慌失措，羞愧難當，脆弱如野草和菜蔬，又像還未長大就被曬焦的房頂草。

因為他們如瞬息枯萎的草芥，又如轉眼消逝的綠草。

因為「芸芸眾生盡如草，榮華不過草上花；草必枯乾花必殘，

富有的弟兄降卑，也要快樂，因為他會像花草一樣衰殘。驕陽升起，草就乾枯，花也凋謝，美麗就消失了。富有的人在忙忙碌碌中也會如此衰殘。

惡人雖如草滋生，一時亨通，但終必永遠滅亡。

你們不要背叛耶和華，也不要害怕那裡的人，他們不過是我們的獵物，他們已失去庇護。耶和華與我們同在，不要怕他們。」

你們要去毀壞她的葡萄園，但不可徹底毀壞。要砍掉枝子，因為那些枝子不屬於耶和華。

若不是耶和華建造房屋，建造者的工作都是徒勞。若不是耶和華保護城池，守城者保持警覺也是徒然。你早起晚睡，為生活操勞也是徒然，唯有耶和華所愛的人才能安眠。
