“不要让你所倚靠的上帝愚弄你，说什么耶路撒冷必不会落在亚述王手中。

“你们要对犹大王希西家这样说：不要给你所倚靠的神欺骗你说：耶路撒冷必不交在亚述王的手里。

“你们要对犹大王希西加这样说：‘不要让你所依靠的神欺哄你，说：耶路撒冷必不落入亚述王的手中。

「你們對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的神欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。

「你們要對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的神欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。

「不要讓你所倚靠的上帝愚弄你，說什麼耶路撒冷必不會落在亞述王手中。

“你們要對猶大王希西家這樣說：不要給你所倚靠的神欺騙你說：耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手裡。

『你們去對猶大王希西家這麼說：「不要讓你的上帝、你所倚靠的上帝、欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不至於交在亞述王手裏。

「你們要對猶大王希西加這樣說：『不要讓你所依靠的神欺哄你，說：耶路撒冷必不落入亞述王的手中。

當告猶大王希西家云、爾所恃之上帝、謂耶路撒冷必不付於亞述王手、爾勿為其所欺、

當告猶大王希西家云、爾所恃之上帝、曾言耶路撒冷必不陷於亞述王、勿為所誘、

當如是告猶大王希西家曰、爾勿為爾恃之神所惑、自言耶路撒冷必不至陷於亞述王手、

“ Say to Hezekiah king of Judah: Do not let the god you depend on deceive you when he says,‘ Jerusalem will not be given into the hands of the king of Assyria.’

“ Tell Hezekiah, the king of Judah,‘ Don’t let the god you depend on trick you. He says,“ Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.” But don’t believe him.

“ Thus shall you speak to Hezekiah king of Judah:‘ Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you by promising that Jerusalem will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“ This message is for King Hezekiah of Judah. Don’t let your God, in whom you trust, deceive you with promises that Jerusalem will not be captured by the king of Assyria.

“ Say this to King Hezekiah of Judah:‘ Don’t let your God, on whom you rely, deceive you by promising that Jerusalem won’t be handed over to the king of Assyria.

“ This is what you shall say to Hezekiah king of Judah:‘ Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you by saying,“ Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.”

“ Thus you shall speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying:‘ Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying,“ Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”

Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

“ Say this to Hezekiah king of Judah:‘ Don’t let your God, whom you trust, deceive you by promising that Jerusalem won’t be handed over to the king of Assyria.

不要聽憑希西家說服你們倚靠耶和華，他說，耶和華必要拯救我們，這城必不交在亞述王的手中。』

「你們要對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的上帝欺哄你說：耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。看哪，你總聽說亞述諸王向列國所行的是盡行滅絕，難道你能倖免嗎？我祖先所毀滅的，就是歌散、哈蘭、利色和提‧拉撒的伊甸人；這些國的神明何曾拯救他們呢？哈馬的王，亞珥拔的王，西法瓦音城的王，希拿和以瓦的王，都在哪裏呢？』」

「他把自己交託給耶和華，讓耶和華救他吧！耶和華既喜愛他，可以搭救他吧！」

現在，不要讓希西家這樣欺騙你們，誘惑你們，也不要相信他，因為沒有一國一邦的神明能救自己的百姓脫離我的手和我祖先的手，你們的上帝也絕不能救你們脫離我的手。』」西拿基立的臣僕還說了一些話來毀謗耶和華上帝和他的僕人希西家。西拿基立也寫信毀謗耶和華－以色列的上帝，說：「列邦的神明既不能救自己的百姓脫離我的手，希西家的上帝也不能救他的百姓脫離我的手。」亞述王的臣僕用猶大話向耶路撒冷城牆上的百姓大聲呼喊，要恐嚇他們，擾亂他們，以便取城。他們談論耶路撒冷的上帝，如同談論世上人手所造的神明一樣。

希西家倚靠耶和華－以色列的上帝，在他之前和在他之後的猶大列王中沒有一個像他一樣的。

「你們當剛強壯膽，不要因亞述王和跟隨他的大軍恐懼驚慌，因為與我們同在的，比與他們同在的更大。與他們同在的是血肉之臂，但與我們同在的是耶和華－我們的上帝，他必幫助我們，為我們爭戰。」百姓因猶大王希西家的話就得到鼓勵。

這些國的神明有誰曾救自己的國家脫離我的手呢？難道耶和華能救耶路撒冷脫離我的手嗎？』」

他倚靠上帝，上帝若願意，現在就來救他，因為他曾說『我是上帝的兒子』。」
