Tell those who panic,“ Be strong! Do not fear! Look, your God comes to avenge! With divine retribution he comes to deliver you.”

又对那些忧心的人说：“你们要刚强，不要惧怕。看哪！你们的神，他要来报仇，来施行报应，他必来拯救你们。”

要对那些心里惊慌的人说：“你们要坚强，不要害怕。看哪，你们的神！他的报复将到——他所施行的报应将到；他必亲自来拯救你们。”

對膽怯的人說：你們要剛強，不要懼怕。看哪，你們的神必來報仇，必來施行極大的報應；他必來拯救你們。

對心裏焦急的人說：「要剛強，不要懼怕。看哪，你們的上帝要來施報，要施行極大的報應，他必來拯救你們。」

要對膽怯的人說：「你們要剛強，不要懼怕。看啊，你們的上帝必來拯救你們，為你們復仇，施行報應。」

又對那些憂心的人說：“你們要剛強，不要懼怕。看哪！你們的神，他要來報仇，來施行報應，他必來拯救你們。”

要對心着急的人說：『要剛強，不要懼怕！看哪，你們的上帝！必來伸冤，必行神威的報應！他必親自來拯救你們。

要對那些心裡驚慌的人說：「你們要堅強，不要害怕。看哪，你們的神！他的報復將到——他所施行的報應將到；他必親自來拯救你們。」

告心怯者曰、強乃志、勿畏葸、爾之上帝、將以復仇而臨、行上帝之復仇、彼必至而救爾、

若人喪膽、則告之曰、強爾志、毋畏葸、爾之上帝、將臨汝、以伸爾冤、報爾仇、加以援手、

告膽怯者曰、安爾心、毋畏懼、爾之天主必至以復仇、必至以報復、爾之天主必至以復仇必至以報復或作視哉爾之天主臨矣復仇之時已屆天主報復之日已至天主親臨以救爾、

say to those with fearful hearts,“ Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.”

So be patient, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s return. Think of how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the ground and is patient for it until it receives the early and late rains.You also be patient and strengthen your hearts, for the Lord’s return is near.Do not grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be judged. See, the judge stands before the gates!

But when these things begin to happen, stand up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

For the LORD has planned a day of revenge, a time when he will repay Edom for her hostility toward Zion.

On that day they will say to Jerusalem,“ Don’t be afraid, Zion! Your hands must not be paralyzed from panic!The LORD your God is in your midst; he is a warrior who can deliver. He takes great delight in you; he renews you by his love; he shouts for joy over you.”

Even so, take heart, Zerubbabel,’ says the LORD.‘ Take heart, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all you citizens of the land,’ says the LORD,‘ and begin to work. For I am with you,’ says the LORD who rules over all.

David said to his son Solomon:“ Be strong and brave! Do it! Don’t be afraid and don’t panic! For the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not leave you or abandon you before all the work for the service of the LORD’s temple is finished.

He said to me,“ Don’t be afraid, you who are valued. Peace be to you! Be strong! Be really strong!” When he spoke to me, I was strengthened. I said,“ Sir, you may speak now, for you have given me strength.”

This is what the LORD, the one who made you, says– the one who formed you in the womb and helps you:“ Don’t be afraid, my servant Jacob, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen!

Finally, be strengthened in the Lord and in the strength of his power.

to announce the year when the LORD will show his favor, the day when our God will seek vengeance, to console all who mourn,

The one who testifies to these things says,“ Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

For the LORD, our ruler, the LORD, our commander, the LORD, our king– he will deliver us.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you! Don’t be frightened, for I am your God! I strengthen you– yes, I help you– yes, I uphold you with my saving right hand!Look, all who were angry at you will be ashamed and humiliated; your adversaries will be reduced to nothing and perish.When you will look for your opponents, you will not find them; your enemies will be reduced to absolutely nothing.For I am the LORD your God, the one who takes hold of your right hand, who says to you,‘ Don’t be afraid, I am helping you.’Don’t be afraid, despised insignificant Jacob, men of Israel. I am helping you,” says the LORD, your protector, the Holy One of Israel.

How delightful it is to see approaching over the mountains the feet of a messenger who announces peace, a messenger who brings good news, who announces deliverance, who says to Zion,“ Your God reigns!”Listen, your watchmen shout; in unison they shout for joy, for they see with their very own eyes the LORD’s return to Zion.In unison give a joyful shout, O ruins of Jerusalem! For the LORD consoles his people; he protects Jerusalem.The LORD reveals his royal power in the sight of all the nations; the entire earth sees our God deliver.

But I will have pity on the nation of Judah. I will deliver them by the LORD their God; I will not deliver them by the warrior’s bow, by sword, by military victory, by chariot horses, or by chariots.”

Therefore, this is what the sovereign master, the LORD, says:“ Look, I am laying a stone in Zion, an approved stone, set in place as a precious cornerstone for the foundation. The one who maintains his faith will not panic.

For the LORD who rules over all says to me that for his own glory he has sent me to the nations that plundered you– for anyone who touches you touches the pupil of his eye.“ I am about to punish them in such a way,” he says,“ that they will be looted by their own slaves.” Then you will know that the LORD who rules over all has sent me.“ Sing out and be happy, Zion my daughter! For look, I have come; I will settle in your midst,” says the LORD.

Now, this is what the LORD says, the one who created you, O Jacob, and formed you, O Israel:“ Don’t be afraid, for I will protect you. I call you by name, you are mine.When you pass through the waters, I am with you; when you pass through the streams, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you.For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your deliverer. I have handed over Egypt as a ransom price, Ethiopia and Seba in place of you.Since you are precious and special in my sight, and I love you, I will hand over people in place of you, nations in place of your life.Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. From the east I will bring your descendants; from the west I will gather you.I will say to the north,‘ Hand them over!’ and to the south,‘ Don’t hold any back!’ Bring my sons from distant lands, and my daughters from the remote regions of the earth,

Don’t be afraid, for you will not be put to shame! Don’t be intimidated, for you will not be humiliated! You will forget about the shame you experienced in your youth; you will no longer remember the disgrace of your abandonment.For your husband is the one who made you– the LORD who commands armies is his name. He is your protector, the Holy One of Israel. He is called“ God of the entire earth.”

At that time they will say,“ Look, here is our God! We waited for him and he delivered us. Here is the LORD! We waited for him. Let’s rejoice and celebrate his deliverance!”

For look, the LORD comes with fire, his chariots come like a windstorm, to reveal his raging anger, his battle cry, and his flaming arrows.

I rashly declared,“ All men are liars.”

The mind that acts rashly will possess discernment and the tongue that stutters will speak with ease and clarity.

Go, my people! Enter your inner rooms! Close your doors behind you! Hide for a little while, until his angry judgment is over!For look, the LORD is coming out of the place where he lives, to punish the sin of those who live on the earth. The earth will display the blood shed on it; it will no longer cover up its slain.

Our God approaches and is not silent; consuming fire goes ahead of him and all around him a storm rages.

“ I am about to send my messenger, who will clear the way before me. Indeed, the Lord you are seeking will suddenly come to his temple, and the messenger of the covenant, whom you long for, is certainly coming,” says the LORD who rules over all.

She will give birth to a son and you will name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”This all happened so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled:“ Look! The virgin will conceive and bear a son, and they will call him Emmanuel,” which means“ God with us.”

For the message is a witness to what is decreed; it gives reliable testimony about how matters will turn out. Even if the message is not fulfilled right away, wait patiently; for it will certainly come to pass– it will not arrive late.

For just a little longer and he who is coming will arrive and not delay.But my righteous one will live by faith, and if he shrinks back, I take no pleasure in him.

Do not be afraid of the things you are about to suffer. The devil is about to have some of you thrown into prison so you may be tested, and you will experience suffering for ten days. Remain faithful even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown that is life itself.

Go up on a high mountain, O herald Zion! Shout out loudly, O herald Jerusalem! Shout, don’t be afraid! Say to the towns of Judah,“ Here is your God!”Look, the sovereign LORD comes as a victorious warrior; his military power establishes his rule. Look, his reward is with him; his prize goes before him.Like a shepherd he tends his flock; he gathers up the lambs with his arm; he carries them close to his heart; he leads the ewes along.

So you, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

so also, after Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many, to those who eagerly await him he will appear a second time, not to bear sin but to bring salvation.

I will get revenge and pay them back at the time their foot slips; for the day of their disaster is near, and the impending judgment is rushing upon them!”The LORD will judge his people, and will change his plans concerning his servants; when he sees that their power has disappeared, and that no one is left, whether confined or set free.He will say,“ Where are their gods, the rock in whom they sought security,who ate the best of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? Let them rise and help you; let them be your refuge!“ See now that I, indeed I, am he!” says the LORD,“ and there is no other god besides me. I kill and give life, I smash and I heal, and none can resist my power.For I raise up my hand to heaven, and say,‘ As surely as I live forever,I will sharpen my lightning- like sword, and my hand will grasp hold of the weapon of judgment; I will execute vengeance on my foes, and repay those who hate me!I will make my arrows drunk with blood, and my sword will devour flesh– the blood of the slaughtered and captured, the chief of the enemy’s leaders!’”Cry out, O nations, with his people, for he will avenge his servants’ blood; he will take vengeance against his enemies, and make atonement for his land and people.

Be strong and brave! You must lead these people in the conquest of this land that I solemnly promised their ancestors I would hand over to them.Make sure you are very strong and brave! Carefully obey all the law my servant Moses charged you to keep! Do not swerve from it to the right or to the left, so that you may be successful in all you do.

Therefore, the sovereign LORD who commands armies, the powerful ruler of Israel, says this:“ Ah, I will seek vengeance against my adversaries, I will take revenge against my enemies.
