你當專心領受管教，側耳聽知識的言語。

我確實地告訴你們：即使天和地都消逝了，律法的一點一畫也絕不會消逝，直到一切都成就。

而經上的話是不能廢除的。神既然稱那些承受他話語的人為神，

那時，敬畏耶和華的人彼此談論，耶和華留心垂聽。那些敬畏耶和華、尊重他名的人，在他面前都被記錄在一本記念冊上。

並且我們有先知更確切的話語。你們如果留心這些話語，把它當做照耀在暗處的燈，一直到天光破曉、晨星在你們心中升起，你們就做得很好了。

「看哪，我要使大洪水臨到地上，要毀滅普天之下一切有生命氣息、有血肉的，地上的一切都將斷氣！

天和地將要消逝，但是我的話絕不會消逝。

但如果你們拒絕、悖逆，就必被刀劍吞噬。」這是耶和華親口說的。

那麼，你就必以我耶和華為樂；我要使你乘駕於大地的高處，並要用你先祖雅各的繼業養活你。」這是耶和華親口說的。

你們查考經文，因你們以為從中可以得到永恆的生命。其實這經文就是為我做見證的。

不過，我會把真理之書上所記載的告訴你。除了你們的護衛天使米迦勒以外，沒有一個支持我抵擋他們。
