Listen to Me, you islands, And pay attention, you peoples from afar. The Lord called Me from the womb; From the body of My mother He named Me.

As is Your name, God, So is Your praise to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness.

Therefore remember that previously you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called“ Uncircumcision” by the so called“ Circumcision” which is performed in the flesh by human hands—remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the people of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.But now in Christ Jesus you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall,by abolishing in His flesh the hostility, which is the Law composed of commandments expressed in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two one new person, in this way establishing peace;and that He might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the hostility.And He came and preached peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near;for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

The satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together and saw that the fire had no effect on the bodies of these men, nor was the hair of their heads singed, nor were their trousers damaged, nor had even the smell of fire touched them.Nebuchadnezzar responded and said,“ Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego, who has sent His angel and rescued His servants who put their trust in Him, violating the king’s command, and surrendered their bodies rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or population of any language that speaks anything offensive against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego shall be torn limb from limb and their houses made a rubbish heap, because there is no other god who is able to save in this way.”Then the king made Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego prosperous in the province of Babylon.Nebuchadnezzar the king to all the peoples, nations, and populations of all languages who live in all the earth:“ May your peace be great!I am pleased to declare the signs and miracles that the Most High God has done for me.How great are His signs And how mighty are His miracles! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And His dominion is from generation to generation.

The Lord is great in Zion, And He is exalted above all the peoples.May they praise Your great and awesome name; Holy is He.

and said to the men,“ I know that the Lord has given you the land, and that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land have despaired because of you.For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.When we heard these reports, our hearts melted and no courage remained in anyone any longer because of you; for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth below.

This day the Lord will hand you over to me, and I will strike you and remove your head from you. Then I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild animals of the earth, so that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel,

Creating the praise of the lips. Peace, peace to him who is far away and to him who is near,” Says the Lord,“ and I will heal him.”

All you who inhabit the world, and live on earth, As soon as a flag is raised on the mountains, you will see it, And as soon as the trumpet is blown, you will hear it.

But now Lord, our God, save us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You alone, Lord, are God.”

The nations made an uproar, the kingdoms tottered; He raised His voice, the earth quaked.The Lord of armies is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold. SelahCome, behold the works of the Lord, Who has inflicted horrific events on the earth.He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariots with fire.“ Stop striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth.”The Lord of armies is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold. The peoples have heard, they tremble; Anguish has gripped the inhabitants of Philistia.

Zion heard this and was joyful, And the daughters of Judah have rejoiced Because of Your judgments, Lord.

They said to him,“ Your servants have come from a very distant country because of the fame of the Lord your God; for we have heard the report about Him and all that He did in Egypt,and all that He did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon king of Heshbon and to Og king of Bashan who was in Ashtaroth.

And He has lifted up a horn for His people, Praise for all His godly ones, For the sons of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord, Jerusalem! Praise your God, Zion!For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your sons among you.He makes peace in your borders; He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat.

Now there were Jews residing in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation under heaven.And when this sound occurred, the crowd came together and they were bewildered, because each one of them was hearing them speak in his own language.They were amazed and astonished, saying,“ Why, are not all these who are speaking Galileans?And how is it that we each hear them in our own language to which we were born?Parthians, Medes, and Elamites, and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea, and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya around Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,Cretans and Arabs— we hear them speaking in our own tongues of the mighty deeds of God.”

Sing a new song to the Lord, For He has done wonderful things, His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him.The Lord has made His salvation known; He has revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations.
