爾安居者當戰慄、爾無慮者當恐惶、解衣裸體、束腰以麻、

Tremble, you complacent women; shudder, you daughters who feel secure! Strip off your fine clothes and wrap yourselves in rags.

So tremble, you contented women. Tremble with fear, you who feel so secure. Take off your fine clothes. Wrap yourselves in rags.

Tremble, you women who are at ease, shudder, you complacent ones; strip, and make yourselves bare, and tie sackcloth around your waist.

Tremble, you women of ease; throw off your complacency. Strip off your pretty clothes, and put on burlap to show your grief.

在街上，他们束上麻布；在屋顶上、在广场上，人人哀号，流泪哭泣。

有一大群人跟着耶稣，其中有些妇女为他捶胸哀哭。耶稣转过身来，对她们说：“耶路撒冷的女儿啊，不要为我哭，而要为你们自己、为你们的儿女哭！看，日子将要来到，那时人们会说：‘不能生育、没有怀过胎和没有乳养过婴儿的，是蒙福的！’那时人们将开始对山岭说：‘倒在我们身上吧！’对丘陵说：‘遮盖我们吧！’

那时，腐臭必代替馨香，绳索代替腰带，光秃代替美发，束身麻衣代替华服，烙痕代替美貌。

因此我说：“请你转眼别看我，让我痛哭吧！不要因我子民的毁灭而强行安慰我！”因为主万军之耶和华定了一个日子，在“异象谷”必有骚乱、践踏和惊扰——城墙被攻破，呼救声达到山上。

你们在地上奢侈生活、享乐度日，为宰杀的日子养肥了自己的心！

耶和华起来震动大地的时候，人必进入磐石穴、土洞中，躲避耶和华令人恐惧的面和他威严的荣光。

“巴比伦处女啊，下来，坐在尘土中！迦勒底女子啊，坐在地上，没有宝座！因为人必不再称你为柔弱娇嫩的了。你要拿石磨去磨面粉；你要揭开面纱，脱去长裙，露出大腿，渡过河去。你的下体必被露出，你的羞耻必被看见。我要施行报复，不放过任何人。

亚述王也必把埃及的俘虏和库实的被掳之民怎样带走，使他们无论老少都裸体赤足、露出臀部——成为埃及的羞耻。

这是为了在耶和华起来震动大地的时候，他们能进入磐石缝、岩隙中，躲避耶和华令人恐惧的面和他威严的荣光。

罪人在锡安惧怕，不敬虔的人被战兢抓住，说：“我们中间谁能与吞噬之火同住？我们中间谁能与不灭之焰共居？”
