以色列子孙哪，你们要回转归向你们曾严重反叛的那一位！

以色列人啊，你們曾經嚴重地悖逆耶和華，現在歸向祂吧！

以色列人必回轉歸向他們所深深叛逆的永恆主。

以色列子孫哪，你們要回轉歸向你們曾嚴重反叛的那一位！

以色列人歟、昔爾逆之已甚、今其歸之、

爾曹以色列族昔日違我、今當歸誠、

以色列人歟、爾曹悖逆主特甚、務當歸之、

Return, you Israelites, to the One you have so greatly revolted against.

People of Israel, return to the Lord. He’s the God you have so strongly opposed.

Turn to him from whom people have deeply revolted, O children of Israel.

Though you are such wicked rebels, my people, come and return to the Lord.

Return to Him against whom you have been profoundly obstinate, you sons of Israel.

Return to Him against whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted.

Turn ye unto him from whom ye have deeply revolted, O children of Israel.

Return to the One the Israelites have greatly rebelled against.

Turn ye unto[ him from] whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted.

You Israelites! Return to the one against whom you have so blatantly rebelled!

Return to him from whom you have deeply revolted, children of Israel.

“‘ Return, you faithless children— this is the LORD’s declaration— for I am your master, and I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.

Yet in spite of all this, her treacherous sister Judah didn’t return to me with all her heart— only in pretense.” This is the LORD’s declaration.

Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, so he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will freely forgive.

Return, you faithless children. I will heal your unfaithfulness.“ Here we are, coming to you, for you are the LORD our God.

Therefore repent and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out,

Woe to those who go to great lengths to hide their plans from the LORD. They do their works in the dark, and say,“ Who sees us? Who knows us?”

Instead, I preached to those in Damascus first, and to those in Jerusalem and in all the region of Judea, and to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works worthy of repentance.

All the leaders of the priests and the people multiplied their unfaithful deeds, imitating all the detestable practices of the nations, and they defiled the LORD’s temple that he had consecrated in Jerusalem.

But these people have stubborn and rebellious hearts. They have turned aside and have gone away.

I have surely heard Ephraim moaning,“ You disciplined me, and I have been disciplined like an untrained calf. Take me back, so that I can return, for you, LORD, are my God.After my return, I felt regret; After I was instructed, I struck my thigh in grief. I was ashamed and humiliated because I bore the disgrace of my youth.”Isn’t Ephraim a precious son to me, a delightful child? Whenever I speak against him, I certainly still think about him. Therefore, my inner being yearns for him; I will truly have compassion on him. This is the LORD’s declaration.

They have deeply corrupted themselves as in the days of Gibeah. He will remember their iniquity; he will punish their sins.

So Manasseh caused Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to stray so that they did worse evil than the nations the LORD had destroyed before the Israelites.The LORD spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they didn’t listen.So he brought against them the military commanders of the king of Assyria. They captured Manasseh with hooks, bound him with bronze shackles, and took him to Babylon.When he was in distress, he sought the favor of the LORD his God and earnestly humbled himself before the God of his ancestors.He prayed to him, and the LORD was receptive to his prayer. He granted his request and brought him back to Jerusalem, to his kingdom. So Manasseh came to know that the LORD is God.After this, he built the outer wall of the city of David from west of Gihon in the valley to the entrance of the Fish Gate; he brought it around Ophel, and he heightened it considerably. He also placed military commanders in all the fortified cities of Judah.He removed the foreign gods and the idol from the LORD’s temple, along with all the altars that he had built on the mountain of the LORD’s temple and in Jerusalem, and he threw them outside the city.He built the altar of the LORD and offered fellowship and thanksgiving sacrifices on it. Then he told Judah to serve the LORD, the God of Israel.

Israel, return to the LORD your God, for you have stumbled in your iniquity.Take words of repentance with you and return to the LORD. Say to him,“ Forgive all our iniquity and accept what is good, so that we may repay you with praise from our lips.Assyria will not save us, we will not ride on horses, and we will no longer proclaim,‘ Our gods!’ to the work of our hands. For the fatherless receives compassion in you.”

Even now— this is the LORD’s declaration— turn to me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping, and mourning.Tear your hearts, not just your clothes, and return to the LORD your God. For he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in faithful love, and he relents from sending disaster.

You have never heard; you have never known; for a long time your ears have not been open. For I knew that you were very treacherous, and were known as a rebel from birth.

Oh sinful nation, people weighed down with iniquity, brood of evildoers, depraved children! They have abandoned the LORD; they have despised the Holy One of Israel; they have turned their backs on him.Why do you want more beatings? Why do you keep on rebelling? The whole head is hurt, and the whole heart is sick.
