Yet he too is wise and can bring disaster; he does not take back his words. He will rise up against that wicked nation, against those who help evildoers.

He too is wise. He can bring horrible trouble. He does what he says he’ll do. He’ll rise up against that evil nation. He’ll fight against those who help them.

And yet he is wise and brings disaster; he does not call back his words, but will arise against the house of the evildoers and against the helpers of those who work iniquity.

In his wisdom, the Lord will send great disaster; he will not change his mind. He will rise against the wicked and against their helpers.

But he also is wise and brings disaster. He does not go back on what he says; he will rise up against the house of the wicked and against the allies of evildoers.

Yet He also is wise and will bring disaster, And does not retract His words, But will arise against the house of evildoers, And against the help of the workers of injustice.

Yet He also is wise and will bring disaster, And will not call back His words, But will arise against the house of evildoers, And against the help of those who work iniquity.

上帝非人、致誑於言、亦非人子、致回厥意、既有言、詎不行之、既出辭、詎不踐之、

我作光造暗、錫平康、降災禍、我耶和華行此事焉、○

蓋世既依上帝之智、而自恃己智不識上帝、故上帝喜以若愚之道救諸信者、猶太人索異蹟、希利尼人求智慧、但我儕宣釘十架之基督、於猶太人則為礙、於異邦人則為愚、惟於奉召者、無論猶太希利尼、則基督為上帝之能、上帝之智、蓋上帝之愚、智於人、上帝之弱、強於人、○兄弟乎、試觀爾曹奉召、依形軀為智為能為貴者無多也、乃上帝選世之愚者、以愧智者、選世之弱者、以愧強者、且選世之卑賤者、輕忽者、與夫無者以廢有者、使無人自誇於上帝前、

天地必廢、我言不廢、

邑中吹角、民豈不懼乎、邑中遭禍、豈非耶和華所為乎、

耶和華曰、爾宜俟我、迨我起而虜掠之日、蓋我已定志、招集諸族、會聚諸國、傾我忿恚、洩我烈怒於其上、全地將為我憤嫉之火所滅、

耶和華以其能力創造大地、以其智慧奠定寰宇、以其明哲展布諸天、

願榮威權力、由我主耶穌基督歸之、先乎萬古以迄於今、至於世世、阿們、

願由耶穌基督、歸榮於獨一睿智之上帝、永世靡暨、阿們、

埃及居民、則知我乃耶和華、蓋埃及人、為以色列家所恃之葦杖、

惟我所命我僕諸先知之言詞典章、豈非及於爾列祖乎、彼則悛改曰、萬軍之耶和華欲依我所行所為、而施行於我、已若是待我矣、○

萬軍之耶和華附耳示我曰、此罪誠不得贖、迨至於死、萬軍之主耶和華言之矣、○

蓋愚魯者出言愚昧、心懷妄為、致行邪僻、謬言以逆耶和華、使飢者枵腹、渴者絕飲、

如是、亞述王必將埃及之俘囚、古實之俘虜、引之而去、無論老幼、裸體跣足、顯露其臀、以辱埃及、彼嘗以古實為望、以埃及為榮、必皆驚懼慚怍、是日也、瀕海之民必曰、我所瞻望、奔赴求助、冀得脫於亞述王者、今乃若此、我儕焉能逃免哉、

貧窮者屈抑、困乏者欷歔、耶和華曰、我必興起、如其所慕、置諸穩善之區、耶和華之言純粹、如經爐火之銀、煆煉七次兮、

時主如人由寢而寤、勇士飲酒而呼兮、擊退其敵、使之蒙羞不已兮、

爾上帝耶和華所許之福既已臨爾、諸禍亦必臨爾、迨爾上帝耶和華滅絕爾、於其所賜之美地、

法老之保障、必為爾之羞辱、埃及之蔭庇、必為爾之愧恥、

蓋耶和華興起、如在比拉心山、震怒如在基遍谷、以行其事、其事非常、且成其功、其功奇異、

耶和華曰、我必罰爾於斯土、有兆可徵、使爾知我所言降禍於爾、其言必應、我必以埃及王法老合弗拉、付於厥敵、及索其命者之手、如我以猶大王西底家、付於厥敵、及索其命者巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之手、耶和華言之矣、

約匱移時、摩西曰、耶和華歟、尚其興起、願敵潰散、願憾爾者遁逃、

萬國之王歟、孰不宜寅畏爾、此為爾所應得、列邦智者顯厥尊榮、無如爾者、

願上帝興起、使敵潰散、憾之者遁於其前兮、使之被逐、如烟之散、使惡人滅於上帝前、如蠟之鎔於火兮、

爾之罪愆、若高垣將傾、凸而有隙、俄頃之間、突然而圮、必見破壞、猶陶器之被毀、碎之弗惜、不得一片、用以取火於爐、汲水於井、

蓋復仇之日、在我意中、我救贖之年已屆、我觀之、無人輔翼、我異其無人扶持、遂以己臂自行拯救、藉己憤自為扶持、

勿復出言驕矜、勿容口發狂妄、蓋耶和華為睿智之上帝、人之所行、為彼所衡、

埃及族、人也、非神也、其馬、肉也、非靈也、迨耶和華舉手、則助者躓、受助者仆、同歸滅亡、

令智者自中其詭計、使譎者之謀早敗、
