禍哉！那些下埃及求幫助的人！他們依仗馬匹，依靠戰車眾多、馬兵強大，卻不仰望以色列的聖者，也不尋求耶和華。

彼往埃及求助、恃其車馬之眾、驍騎之強、不仰望以色列之聖者、不尋求耶和華、禍哉其人、

人往埃及、求其助己、見車馬眾多、驍騎勇猛、則以之是恃、不恃以色列族之聖主耶和華而求其眷祐、其禍必不遠矣、

下伊及求助、倚賴戰馬、因車乘眾多而恃之、馬卒甚強而賴之、不仰望以色列之聖主、不祈求主、是人也、禍哉禍哉、

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the Lord.

How terrible it will be for those who go down to Egypt for help! How terrible for those who depend on horses! They trust in how many chariots they have. They trust in how strong their horsemen are. But they don’t look to the Holy One of Israel. They don’t ask the Lord for his help.

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult the Lord!

What sorrow awaits those who look to Egypt for help, trusting their horses, chariots, and charioteers and depending on the strength of human armies instead of looking to the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and who depend on horses! They trust in the abundance of chariots and in the large number of horsemen. They do not look to the Holy One of Israel, and they do not seek the LORD.

Those who go down to Egypt for help are as good as dead, those who rely on war horses, and trust in Egypt’s many chariots and in their many, many horsemen. But they do not rely on the Holy One of Israel and do not seek help from the LORD.

有人靠战车，有人靠马匹，但我们却靠耶和华我们神的名。

还说：“不，我们要骑马逃跑！”因此你们真的会逃跑；你们又说：“我们要骑飞快的马！”因此追赶你们的人也会飞快。

看哪！你依靠的埃及是压裂的芦苇杖；如果有人倚靠它，它就会扎入那人的手，把手刺透。埃及王法老对所有依靠他的人都是这样。

君王不能靠军队众多得拯救，勇士不能靠力量强大得解救；靠马得救是枉然的，马不能靠它的力大救人。

照着摩西的律法上所记的，这一切祸患都临到我们身上；然而我们却没有恳求耶和华我们神的恩宠，好使我们回转离开自己的罪孽，留心你的真理。

如果不能，你怎能击退我主的臣仆中至小的一个军官呢？你竟敢依靠埃及的战车和马兵！

然而，这百姓既不转向击打他们的那一位，也不寻求万军之耶和华。

耶和华宣告：“祸哉！悖逆的儿女！他们所行的计划不出于我，所立的盟约不出于我的灵，致使他们罪上加罪。他们没有求问我，就起身下埃及去，在法老的保护下避难，投靠在埃及的荫庇下。因此，法老的保护必成为他们的耻辱；投靠在埃及的荫庇下，也必成为他们的羞愧。虽然他们的首领们已经在琐安，他们的使者们已经到达哈内斯，但他们却因那无益之民而蒙羞——那民不能给他们带来帮助和益处，只能带来耻辱和羞辱。”与南地动物有关的默示：他们把财富驮在驴子背上，把宝物驮在骆驼峰上，经过艰难困苦之地，就是公狮、母狮、蝮蛇和会飞的火蛇出没之地，要到一个无益于他们的民那里。埃及的帮助是虚空的、徒然的，因此我称它为“静止不动的拉哈伯”。

你们又在两道城墙之间造蓄水池，用来盛旧池的水；但你们却没有指望行这事的、没有顾念在远古计划这事的那一位。

到那日，人必仰望那造他们的主，他们的眼睛必注视以色列的圣者。他们必不仰望自己手所做的祭坛，也不注视自己指头所做的亚舍拉和香坛。

他们的宴席上有竖琴、里拉琴、铃鼓、横笛和酒，但他们没有注目耶和华的作为，也没有注视他手所做的。

没有人呼求你的名，没有人奋起去紧抓你；因为你向我们掩面，使我们在自己罪孽的权势下消融。

他们的地充斥着金银，宝藏无穷；他们的地充斥着马匹，战车无数。

你带着油，朝觐摩洛，多添你的香料；你也派遣信使到远方，甚至派遣他们下到阴间。
