猶大人乎、爾曹躊躇而滿志、相望而驚疑、厥心昏迷、跬步不能自主、非因飲酒、乃因駭異、

爾曹惟驚駭驚異、惟迷昧迷蒙、彼醉並非因酒、步履欹斜、並非因飲醉人之物、

Be stunned and amazed, blind yourselves and be sightless; be drunk, but not from wine, stagger, but not from beer.

People of Jerusalem, be shocked and amazed. Make yourselves blind so you can’t see anything. Get drunk, but not from wine. Be unsteady on your feet, but not because of beer.

Astonish yourselves and be astonished; blind yourselves and be blind! Be drunk, but not with wine; stagger, but not with strong drink!

Are you amazed and incredulous? Don’t you believe it? Then go ahead and be blind. You are stupid, but not from wine! You stagger, but not from liquor!

Stop and be astonished; blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunk, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with beer.

Be delayed and horrified, Blind yourselves and be blind; They become drunk, but not with wine, They stagger, but not with intoxicating drink.

Pause and wonder! Blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunk, but not with wine; They stagger, but not with intoxicating drink.

Tarry ye and wonder; take your pleasure and be blind: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

Stop and be astonished; blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunk, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with beer.

Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

You will be shocked and amazed! You are totally blind! They are drunk, but not because of wine; they stagger, but not because of beer.

Therefore hear this, you afflicted one, made drunk, but not with wine.This is what your Sovereign Lord says, your God, who defends his people:“ See, I have taken out of your hand the cup that made you stagger; from that cup, the goblet of my wrath, you will never drink again. (niv)

The Lord has poured into them a spirit of dizziness; they make Egypt stagger in all that she does, as a drunkard staggers around in his vomit. (niv)

You who are far away, hear what I have done; you who are near, acknowledge my power!The sinners in Zion are terrified; trembling grips the godless:“ Who of us can dwell with the consuming fire? Who of us can dwell with everlasting burning?” (niv)

Rejoice and be glad, Daughter Edom, you who live in the land of Uz. But to you also the cup will be passed; you will be drunk and stripped naked. (niv)

And these also stagger from wine and reel from beer: Priests and prophets stagger from beer and are befuddled with wine; they reel from beer, they stagger when seeing visions, they stumble when rendering decisions.All the tables are covered with vomit and there is not a spot without filth. (niv)

Babylon was a gold cup in the Lord’s hand; she made the whole earth drunk. The nations drank her wine; therefore they have now gone mad. (niv)

Take care that what the prophets have said does not happen to you:“‘ Look, you scoffers, wonder and perish, for I am going to do something in your days that you would never believe, even if someone told you.’” (niv)

“ Look at the nations and watch— and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told. (niv)

Concerning the prophets: My heart is broken within me; all my bones tremble. I am like a drunken man, like a strong man overcome by wine, because of the Lord and his holy words. (niv)

Returning the third time, he said to them,“ Are you still sleeping and resting? Enough! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners. (niv)

“ Then tell them,‘ This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Drink, get drunk and vomit, and fall to rise no more because of the sword I will send among you.’ (niv)

The Lord, the Lord Almighty, called you on that day to weep and to wail, to tear out your hair and put on sackcloth.But see, there is joy and revelry, slaughtering of cattle and killing of sheep, eating of meat and drinking of wine!“ Let us eat and drink,” you say,“ for tomorrow we die!” (niv)

Then he returned to the disciples and said to them,“ Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour has come, and the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners. (niv)

The Lord has brought over you a deep sleep: He has sealed your eyes( the prophets); he has covered your heads( the seers). (niv)

Be appalled at this, you heavens, and shudder with great horror,” declares the Lord. (niv)

Hear me, you heavens! Listen, earth! For the Lord has spoken:“ I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me. (niv)

I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of God’s holy people, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus. When I saw her, I was greatly astonished. (niv)

Awake, awake! Rise up, Jerusalem, you who have drunk from the hand of the Lord the cup of his wrath, you who have drained to its dregs the goblet that makes people stagger. (niv)

I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh; they will be drunk on their own blood, as with wine. Then all mankind will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.” (niv)
