你必敗落，從地中說話；你的言語必微細出於塵埃。你的聲音必像那交鬼者的聲音出於地；你的言語低低微微出於塵埃。

爾必卑降、自地而言、語音喃喃、出於塵埃、有若巫覡、自土地塵埃中、唧唧而語、

民必降格、聲勿揚、若為神所憑者、其音微細、若從地出、

爾必卑降、伏地而言、語音微細、出自塵土、爾聲如鬼聲自地而出、從塵中唧唧出言、

Brought low, you will speak from the ground; your speech will mumble out of the dust. Your voice will come ghostlike from the earth; out of the dust your speech will whisper.

You will be brought down to the grave. You will speak from deep down inside the ground. Your words will be barely heard out of the dust. Your voice will sound like the voice of a ghost coming from under the ground. Your words will sound like a whisper out of the dust.”

And you will be brought low; from the earth you shall speak, and from the dust your speech will be bowed down; your voice shall come from the ground like the voice of a ghost, and from the dust your speech shall whisper.

Then deep from the earth you will speak; from low in the dust your words will come. Your voice will whisper from the ground like a ghost conjured up from the grave.

You will be brought down; you will speak from the ground, and your words will come from low in the dust. Your voice will be like that of a spirit from the ground; your speech will whisper from the dust.

You shall be brought down, You shall speak out of the ground; Your speech shall be low, out of the dust; Your voice shall be like a medium’s, out of the ground; And your speech shall whisper out of the dust.

You will fall; while lying on the ground you will speak; from the dust where you lie, your words will be heard. Your voice will sound like a spirit speaking from the underworld; from the dust you will chirp as if muttering an incantation.

You will be brought down, and will speak out of the ground. Your speech will mumble out of the dust. Your voice will be as of one who has a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and your speech will whisper out of the dust.

When they say to you,“ Consult the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter,” should a people not consult their God? Should they consult the dead in behalf of the living?

For Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen, Because their speech and their actions are against the Lord, To rebel against His glorious presence.

For our souls have sunk down into the dust; Our bodies cling to the earth.

The proud look of humanity will be brought low, And the arrogance of people will be humbled; And the Lord alone will be exalted on that day.For the Lord of armies will have a day of reckoning Against everyone who is arrogant and haughty, And against everyone who is lifted up, That he may be brought low.And it will be against all the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted up, Against all the oaks of Bashan,Against all the lofty mountains, Against all the hills that are lifted up,Against every high tower, Against every fortified wall,Against all the ships of Tarshish And against all the delightful ships.And the pride of humanity will be humbled And the arrogance of people will be brought low; And the Lord alone will be exalted on that day,And the idols will completely vanish.People will go into caves of the rocks And into holes in the ground Away from the terror of the Lord And the splendor of His majesty, When He arises to terrify the earth.On that day people will throw away to the moles and the bats Their idols of silver and their idols of gold, Which they made for themselves to worship,In order to go into the clefts of the rocks and the crannies of the cliffs Before the terror of the Lord and the splendor of His majesty, When He arises to terrify the earth.

I will put it into the hand of your tormentors, Who have said to you,‘ Lie down so that we may walk over you.’ You have also made your back like the ground, And like the street for those who walk over it.”

Her uncleanness was in her garment’s seams; She did not think of her future. So she has fallen in an astonishing way; She has no comforter.“ See, Lord, my affliction, For the enemy has honored himself!”
