雅各之愆得宥、其罪見除之果、在於使壇石糜爛如灰、木偶日像、不復樹立、

若此則雅各之罪、可以滌除、其惡亦堪洗濯、毀祭臺之石、使之成灰、木偶日像、不復樹立、

故雅各之愆尤、以此得蒙赦免、斯災所結之果、即除其罪惡、因其毀祭壇之石、使如已碎之灰石、而亞舍拉亞舍拉或作木偶與日像不復立焉、

By this, then, will Jacob’s guilt be atoned for, and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: When he makes all the altar stones to be like limestone crushed to pieces, no Asherah poles or incense altars will be left standing.

The people of Jacob will have to pay for their sin. Here is how they will show that their sin has been removed. They will make all the altar stones like limestone. They will crush them to pieces. No poles used to worship the female god named Asherah will be left standing. No incense altars will be left either.

Therefore by this the guilt of Jacob will be atoned for, and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: when he makes all the stones of the altars like chalk stones crushed to pieces, no Asherim or incense altars will remain standing.

The Lord did this to purge Israel’s wickedness, to take away all her sin. As a result, all the pagan altars will be crushed to dust. No Asherah pole or pagan shrine will be left standing.

Therefore Jacob’s iniquity will be atoned for in this way, and the result of the removal of his sin will be this: when he makes all the altar stones like crushed bits of chalk, no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing.

Therefore through this Jacob’s wrongdoing will be forgiven; And this will be the full price of the pardoning of his sin: When he makes all the altar stones like pulverized chalk stones; When Asherim and incense altars will not stand.

Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be covered; And this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: When he makes all the stones of the altar Like chalkstones that are beaten to dust, Wooden images and incense altars shall not stand.

Therefore by this shall the iniquity of Jacob be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, so that the Asherim and the sun- images shall rise no more.

Therefore Jacob’s iniquity will be purged in this way, and the result of the removal of his sin will be this: when he makes all the altar stones like crushed bits of chalk, no Asherah poles or incense altars will remain standing.

By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this[ is] all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.

So in this way Jacob’s sin will be forgiven, and this is how they will show they are finished sinning: They will make all the stones of the altars like crushed limestone, and the Asherah poles and the incense altars will no longer stand.

Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk stones that are beaten in pieces, so that the Asherah poles and the incense altars shall rise no more.

我要從你們中間除去雕刻的神像和神柱，使你們不再跪拜自己所造的。我要從你們中間剷除亞舍拉神像，毀滅你們的偶像。

他除掉猶大各城邑的邱壇和香壇，那時國中太平。

迦勒底人打碎耶和華殿中的銅柱、盆座和銅海，把銅運往巴比倫，並帶走了盆、鏟、蠟剪、碟子及一切獻祭用的銅器。護衛長還帶走了火鼎、碗等一切金銀器具。所羅門為耶和華的殿所造的兩根銅柱、一個銅海和一些盆座，用的銅多得無法計算。銅柱高八米，柱頂有柱冠，高一點三五米。柱冠周圍裝飾著銅網和銅石榴。兩根柱子都一樣。

放火焚燒耶和華的殿、王宮及城內所有的房屋。他燒毀了所有重要建築。

然後，把倒空的鍋放在炭火上燒熱，把銅燒紅，好熔化它的雜質，除淨鏽垢，卻徒勞無功，因為鏽垢太厚，就是用火也不能清除。耶路撒冷啊，淫蕩使你污穢不堪，我要潔淨你，你卻不願被潔淨。所以，除非我向你傾盡一切憤怒，否則你的污穢將不能清除。我耶和華言出必行，決不寬容，也不留情，我必照你的所作所為來審判你。』這是主耶和華說的。」

眾人在他面前拆毀巴力的祭壇，他砍掉高高的香壇，又把亞舍拉神像及雕刻和鑄造的偶像磨成粉末，撒在祭拜它們之人的墳墓上，

然而，祂來臨的日子，誰能承受得了呢？祂出現的時候，誰能站立得住呢？因為祂像煉金之火，又像漂白衣裳的鹼。祂要坐下來，像煉淨銀子的人那樣潔淨利未的子孫，像熬煉金銀一樣熬煉他們，使他們憑公義向耶和華獻祭。

約薩達的兒子耶書亞及其他祭司、撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯及其親屬，一起重新築造以色列上帝的祭壇，為要照上帝的僕人摩西在律法書上的記載在壇上獻燔祭。他們雖然懼怕當地的居民，還是在原來的根基上重建祭壇，並早晚在上面向耶和華獻燔祭。

你們必因在橡樹下，在你們選擇的園子裡祭拜偶像而蒙羞。

我受苦對我有益，使我可以學習你的律例。

再者，我們的生身父親管教我們，我們尚且敬重他們，何況是萬靈之父上帝管教我們，我們豈不更要順服祂並得到生命嗎？我們的生身父親是按自己以為好的標準暫時管教我們，但上帝是為了我們的益處而管教我們，使我們可以在祂的聖潔上有份。被管教的滋味絕不好受，當時都很痛苦，但事後那些受過管教的人會收穫公義和平安的果子。

相反，要拆掉他們的祭壇，打碎他們的神柱，砍掉他們的亞舍拉神像。

他們回來後，必除掉一切醜惡可憎的事。

鞭傷能驅除罪惡，責打能潔淨人心。

從前我沒有受苦的時候走迷了路，現在我要遵行你的話。

因為主管教祂所愛的人，責罰祂收納的兒子。」

我要剷除你們中間叛逆和犯罪的人。雖然我要領他們離開寄居之地，他們卻不能回以色列。這樣，你們就知道我是耶和華。』

迦勒底人焚燒上帝的殿，拆毀耶路撒冷的城牆，並且焚燒所有的宮殿，毀壞其中所有珍貴的器皿。

所以，主——萬軍之耶和華，以色列的大能者說：「我要向我的敵人報仇雪恨。我必攻擊你，用鹼煉淨你的渣滓，除盡你的雜質。

主審判我們，是對我們的管教，免得我們和世人一同被定罪。
