I have no wrath. Would that I had thorns and briers to battle! I would march against them, I would burn them up together.

I am not angry. If only there were briers and thorns confronting me! I would march against them in battle; I would set them all on fire.

I am not angry with my vineyard. I wish thorns and bushes would come up in it. Then I would march out against them in battle. I would set all of them on fire.

My anger will be gone. If I find briers and thorns growing, I will attack them; I will burn them up—

I have no wrath. Should someone give Me briars and thorns in battle, Then I would step on them, I would burn them completely.

Fury is not in Me. Who would set briers and thorns Against Me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.

Wrath is not in me: would that the briers and thorns were against me in battle! I would march upon them, I would burn them together.

I am not angry, but if it produces thorns and briers for Me, I will fight against it, trample it, and burn it to the ground.

Fury[ is] not in me: who would set the briers[ and] thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.

I am not angry. I wish I could confront some thorns and briers! Then I would march against them for battle; I would set them all on fire,

The light of Israel will become a fire, and his Holy One a flame, and it will burn and devour his thorns and briers in one day.

But if it bears thorns and thistles, it is worthless and near to being cursed, and its end is to be burned.

His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”

But worthless men are all like thorns that are thrown away, for they cannot be taken with the hand;

Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by.For behold, the Lord is coming out from his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, and the earth will disclose the blood shed on it, and will no more cover its slain.

The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, and the Lord will by no means clear the guilty. His way is in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.He rebukes the sea and makes it dry; he dries up all the rivers; Bashan and Carmel wither; the bloom of Lebanon withers.The mountains quake before him; the hills melt; the earth heaves before him, the world and all who dwell in it.Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the heat of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken into pieces by him.The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.

He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever.

You will say in that day:“ I will give thanks to you, O Lord, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me.

And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the Lord of hosts.

For the Lord has called you like a wife deserted and grieved in spirit, like a wife of youth when she is cast off, says your God.For a brief moment I deserted you, but with great compassion I will gather you.In overflowing anger for a moment I hid my face from you, but with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,” says the Lord, your Redeemer.“ This is like the days of Noah to me: as I swore that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you, and will not rebuke you.For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

You withdrew all your wrath; you turned from your hot anger.

that you may remember and be confounded, and never open your mouth again because of your shame, when I atone for you for all that you have done, declares the Lord God.”

For wickedness burns like a fire; it consumes briers and thorns; it kindles the thickets of the forest, and they roll upward in a column of smoke.

then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment,
