My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.

My heart longs for you at night. My spirit longs for you in the morning. You will come and judge the earth. Then the people of the world will learn to do what is right.

My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

惟上帝之國與義是求、則此物自加諸爾、

上帝兮、我之上帝、予竭力以求、中心如渴、仰慕不置、我困子野、汲道已絕兮、

昧爽、耶穌夙興、適野祈禱、

夜寢於床、恍惚入夢、求我夫子而不得。我即興、遊於邑衢、遍行大道、求我夫子、求之不得、遇巡城卒、問之曰、我之夫子、汝見之乎。相離數武、則遇我夫子、攜手偕行、引入母室。

當時、耶穌往山、竟夜、祈禱上帝、

我必棄斯民、而歸我所、迨其自陳己罪、求沾我恩、窘迫之際、竭力求予。

爾之典章、惟義是據、中夜興起、頌美爾兮、

余也、偃息在床、思念維殷、中宵企想、爾眷祐予、如鳥伏雛、故余欣喜謳歌兮、

當時、地大震、城圮十分之一、死者七千人、餘盡驚駭、讚美天上上帝、

先知曰、耶和華離民不遠、將加眷顧、爾當乘時祈求。

愛我者我亦愛之、汲汲求我者、必得之。

余遭難求主、雖至中夜、舉手不息、不敢稍以自慰兮、余也追思上帝、昔日救我、今也不然、彌懷殷憂、念及往事、更喪厥膽兮、

我惟主是望、較彼眾人、守夜不寢、坐以待旦者、尤甚尤切兮。

惟如是凡厥庶民、咸知爾耶和華至高無二、治理寰宇兮。

新婦曰、我身寢而心寤、夢中聽夫子之聲、叩門呼曰、我之愛妃、美麗若鴿、德無不備、夜深露下、我髮沾濡、爾其啟門、容我入室。我曰、我已解衣、焉能衣之、我曾濯足、焉可污之。我之夫子、入手於牖、我心憫之、起欲啟門、以沒藥盥手、其味馨香、沾染門楗。門既闢、不見夫子、我思其言、魂不附體、求之弗得、呼之莫應。爰遇巡城之卒、擊而傷我、奪我巾幗。耶路撒冷女乎、如遇夫子、為我言之、眷愛之情已多、令我消魂。

上帝著其經綸、維彼兆民、思之維之、寅畏而稱揚之兮。

殺戮數民、其餘悔改、竭力以求兮、

人曰為善者降之祥、上帝帝天下兮。

雖然、我指己以誓、必使我榮丕顯於天下。昔於埃及、及至曠野、俱行異跡、顯我榮光、斯人目擊、猶且試我、至於十次、不聽我言、緣其欺我、故我所誓、錫厥祖之地、彼不能覯止、

若此則雅各之罪、可以滌除、其惡亦堪洗濯、毀祭臺之石、使之成灰、木偶日像、不復樹立、
