My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.

My heart longs for you at night. My spirit longs for you in the morning. You will come and judge the earth. Then the people of the world will learn to do what is right.

My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

In the night I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek you. For only when you come to judge the earth will people learn what is right.

I long for you in the night; yes, my spirit within me diligently seeks you, for when your judgments are in the land, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

你們要先求他的國和他的義，這一切都必加給你們。

神啊！你是我的神，我要切切尋求你；在乾旱、疲乏、無水之地，我的心，我的身，都渴想你，切慕你。

次日凌晨，天還沒有亮，耶穌起身出去，來到荒野的地方，在那裡禱告。

我夜間躺在床上，尋找我心所愛的，我尋找他，卻找不到他。我說：“我要起來，走遍全城，在街上，在廣場上，尋找我心所愛的。”我尋找他，卻找不到他。城中的守衛巡邏的時候，找著我；我就問他們：“你們有沒有看見我心所愛的？”我剛剛離開他們，就遇見我心所愛的；我把他拉住，不讓他走，等到我帶他到我母親的家，進到懷我者的內室。

在那些日子，有一次耶穌出去到山上禱告，整夜禱告神。

我要回到自己的地方去；直到他們承認自己的罪過，尋求我的面。在痛苦中必懇切尋求我。”

因你公義的典章，我半夜起來稱謝你。

我在床上記念你，我整夜默想你。因為你幫助了我，我要在你翅膀的蔭下歡呼。

就在那時，大地震發生了，那座城倒塌了十分之一，因著地震而死的有七千人，其餘的人都很害怕，就把榮耀歸給天上的神。

你們要趁著耶和華可以尋找的時候，尋找他，趁著他靠近的時候，呼求他。

愛我的，我必愛他；殷切尋找我的，必定尋見。

我在患難的日子尋求主，我整夜舉手禱告，總不倦怠，我的心不肯受安慰。我想到神，就哀怨唉哼；我沉思默想，心靈就煩亂。（細拉）

我的心等候主，比守夜的等候天亮還迫切，比守夜的等候天亮還迫切。

使他們知道只有你的名是耶和華，唯有你是掌管全地的至高者。

我身雖然睡臥，我心卻醒。這是我的良人的聲音，他敲著門說：“我的妹妹，我的佳偶，我的鴿子，我的完全人哪！求你給我開門；因為我的頭滿了露水，頭髮給夜露滴濕。”我回答：“我脫了外衣，怎能再穿上呢？我洗了腳，怎能再弄髒呢？”我的良人從門孔裡伸進手來，我的心因他大為激動。我起來，要給我的良人開門；我的兩手滴下沒藥，指頭滴下沒藥，滴在門閂上。我親手給我的良人開門，我的良人卻已轉身走了；我發現他走了，差點昏倒；我到處找他，卻找不見，我呼叫他，他卻不回答。城中的守衛巡邏的時候，找著我；他們打了我，傷了我；看守城牆的人奪去了我身上的外衣。耶路撒冷的眾女子啊！我囑咐你們：你們若遇見我的良人，你們要告訴他甚麼呢？你們要告訴他，我患了相思病。

眾人都要懼怕，要傳揚神的作為，並且要思想他所作的事。

神擊殺他們的時候，他們就尋求他；他們回轉過來，切切求問神。

因此，人必說：“義人果然有善報；在世上確有一位施行審判的神。”

但是，我指著我的永生起誓，全地要被耶和華的榮耀充滿。這些見過我的榮耀，和我在埃及與曠野所行的神蹟的人，仍然試探了我這十次，不聽從我的話；他們決不得看見我向他們的祖宗起誓應許之地；藐視我的，一個也不能看見那地。

藉此，雅各的罪孽才得赦免；他的罪過得以除掉的條件全都在於此，就是他叫祭壇上所有的石頭都變為破碎的灰石，使亞舍拉和香壇不再豎立。
