This is why it is said:“ Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” (niv)

and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. (niv)

“ I will deliver this people from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. Where, O death, are your plagues? Where, O grave, is your destruction?“ I will have no compassion, (niv)

After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence. (niv)

and I have the same hope in God as these men themselves have, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. (niv)

Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. My mouth is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me in the dust of death. (niv)
