O Lord, in distress they sought you; they poured out a whispered prayer when your discipline was upon them.

耶和華與、民罹禍患、望爾眷佑、既受扑責、則柔聲下氣、以祈求爾、

主歟、民遭患難、則仰念主、主加之懲罰、則傾心以祈求主、

Lord, they came to you in their distress; when you disciplined them, they could barely whisper a prayer.

Lord, when your people were suffering, they came to you. When you punished them, they could barely whisper a prayer.

Lord, in distress we searched for you. We prayed beneath the burden of your discipline.

LORD, they went to you in their distress; they poured out whispered prayers because your discipline fell on them.

Lord, they sought You in distress; They could only whisper a prayer, Your discipline was upon them.

Lord, in trouble they have visited You, They poured out a prayer when Your chastening was upon them.

Jehovah, in trouble have they visited thee; they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.

Lord, they went to You in their distress; they poured out whispered prayers because Your discipline fell on them.

LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer[ when] thy chastening[ was] upon them.

O LORD, in distress they looked for you; they uttered incantations because of your discipline.

Yahweh, in trouble they have visited you. They poured out a prayer when your chastening was on them.

I will return again to my place, until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face, and in their distress earnestly seek me.

O inhabitant of Lebanon, nested among the cedars, how you will be pitied when pangs come upon you, pain as of a woman in labor!”

and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”

When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.

But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, you will return to the Lord your God and obey his voice.

These things I remember, as I pour out my soul: how I would go with the throng and lead them in procession to the house of God with glad shouts and songs of praise, a multitude keeping festival.

They do not cry to me from the heart, but they wail upon their beds; for grain and wine they gash themselves; they rebel against me.

yet if they turn their heart in the land to which they have been carried captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captivity, saying,‘ We have sinned and have acted perversely and wickedly,’if they repent with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity to which they were carried captive, and pray toward their land, which you gave to their fathers, the city that you have chosen and the house that I have built for your name,

Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.
