The time has come, The day draws near.‘ Let not the buyer rejoice, Nor the seller mourn, For wrath is on their whole multitude.For the seller shall not return to what has been sold, Though he may still be alive; For the vision concerns the whole multitude, And it shall not turn back; No one will strengthen himself Who lives in iniquity.

I will set My face against that man and make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of My people. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.“ And if the prophet is induced to speak anything, I the Lord have induced that prophet, and I will stretch out My hand against him and destroy him from among My people Israel.And they shall bear their iniquity; the punishment of the prophet shall be the same as the punishment of the one who inquired,

The mighty man and the man of war, The judge and the prophet, And the diviner and the elder;The captain of fifty and the honorable man, The counselor and the skillful artisan, And the expert enchanter.“ I will give children to be their princes, And babes shall rule over them.The people will be oppressed, Every one by another and every one by his neighbor; The child will be insolent toward the elder, And the base toward the honorable.”When a man takes hold of his brother In the house of his father, saying,“ You have clothing; You be our ruler, And let these ruins be under your power,”In that day he will protest, saying,“ I cannot cure your ills, For in my house is neither food nor clothing; Do not make me a ruler of the people.”For Jerusalem stumbled, And Judah is fallen, Because their tongue and their doings Are against the Lord, To provoke the eyes of His glory.

People bow down, And each man humbles himself; Therefore do not forgive them.
