Whoever flees at the sound of terror will fall into a pit; whoever climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare. The floodgates of the heavens are opened, the foundations of the earth shake.

Anyone who runs away from the terror will fall into the pit. Anyone who climbs out of the pit will be caught in the trap. The Lord will open the windows of the skies. He will flood the land. The foundations of the earth will shake.

He who flees at the sound of the terror shall fall into the pit, and he who climbs out of the pit shall be caught in the snare. For the windows of heaven are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble.

Those who flee in terror will fall into a trap, and those who escape the trap will be caught in a snare. Destruction falls like rain from the heavens; the foundations of the earth shake.

And it shall be That he who flees from the noise of the fear Shall fall into the pit, And he who comes up from the midst of the pit Shall be caught in the snare; For the windows from on high are open, And the foundations of the earth are shaken.

And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows on high are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble.

祂一發怒，大地震動，山的根基搖晃。

挪亞六百歲那年的二月十七日，所有深淵的泉源都裂開了，天上的水閘也打開了，

耶和華使亞摩利聯軍陣腳大亂，以色列人就在基遍大敗敵軍，在去伯·和崙的上坡路上追殺他們，一直追到亞西加和瑪基大。敵人在從伯·和崙到亞西加的下坡路上逃竄的時候，耶和華降下大冰雹，被冰雹砸死的人比以色列人用刀殺死的還要多。

你們的光景將好像人逃避獅子，卻遇上了熊，逃回家裡，手扶牆壁，又被蛇咬。

因此，任大地震動，群山沉入深海；任海濤洶湧澎湃，群山搖撼顫抖，我們也不懼怕。（細拉）

他躲過了鐵刃，卻被銅箭射穿。

耶和華啊，你斥責一聲，鼻孔一吹氣，海底就顯現，大地也露出根基。

他自陷網羅，步入圈套。套索纏住他的腳跟，網羅緊緊地罩住他。土裡埋著絆他的繩索，路上有陷阱等待著他。恐懼四面籠罩著他，步步緊追著他。他餓得氣力衰竭，災禍隨時臨到他。疾病侵蝕他的皮肉，死亡吞噬他的肢體。他被拖出安穩的帳篷，被押到冥王那裡。他的帳篷燃燒著烈焰，他的居所撒滿了硫磺。他下面的根莖枯乾，上面的枝子枯萎。

一個攙扶王的將領對上帝的僕人說：「即使耶和華打開天上的窗戶，也不可能發生這樣的事！」以利沙說：「你必親眼看見，卻吃不到。」

以色列人和亞蘭人兩軍對峙，一連七天。第七天，兩軍交戰，以色列軍一天殺了十萬亞蘭步兵，殘餘的亞蘭人都逃進亞弗城，但城牆倒塌壓死了兩萬七千人。便·哈達也逃進城，躲在一間房子的內室裡。

我的怒火已經點燃，要燒到陰間的盡頭，吞滅大地及其出產，甚至燒毀山的根基。「『我要使災禍連連臨到他們，我的箭都射向他們。他們必飽受饑荒之苦，被瘟疫和災禍吞噬，被猛獸和毒蛇襲擊。外有刀劍殺戮，內有恐懼籠罩，少男、少女、嬰兒、老人無一倖免。我本要消滅他們，使世人忘記他們；

耶和華從天上把燃燒的硫磺降在所多瑪和蛾摩拉兩地，
