Behold, here comes a troop of men, horsemen in pairs.” He answered,“ Fallen, fallen is Babylon; and all the engraved images of her gods are broken to the ground.

大聲呼曰、傾矣乎、傾矣乎、大巴比倫也、成為羣魔之居所、及凡邪鬼與污鳥可憎者之囹圄、

又有第二使者從之曰、傾矣乎、傾矣乎、大巴比倫、使萬國飲其淫亂干怒之酒者也、○

巴比倫倏爾傾覆毀滅、當為之號咷、取乳香以醫其痛、庶可得愈、

我必懲罰彼勒於巴比倫、出所吞者於其口、列邦不復匯之、巴比倫之城垣、必傾覆焉、○

巴比倫乃列國中之尊榮、迦勒底人所誇之華美、將若所多瑪蛾摩拉、為上帝所傾覆、

有大力之使者、舉石如大磨、投之於海、曰、巴比倫大邑、將如此猛然被投、不復見矣、

耶和華曰、時日將至、我必懲罰其雕像、受傷者呻吟、遍滿其地、

蓋我必使大邦之眾、來自北方、以攻巴比倫、列陳擊之、於是被陷、敵矢必如精練武士之矢、無徒返者、

曰、巴比倫因耶和華所降之災、必如是沈淪、不得復起、其力憊矣、耶利米之言、至是而止、

旱及於諸水、使之盡涸、因其為雕像之境也、彼眾若狂以奉偶像、

時日將至、我必懲罰巴比倫之雕像、使舉國抱愧、見殺者咸仆於其中、

執弓與戟、殘忍不慈、聲若海濤之漰渤、巴比倫女歟、彼乘馬而來、列陳以攻爾、

宜宣告於列邦、豎立旌旆、播揚勿隱、曰、巴比倫被陷、彼勒蒙羞、米羅達傾覆、其神像慚愧、其偶像傾覆、有民自北方來攻之、使其地荒蕪、無人居處、人畜皆逃而去、

其集挽弓之眾、來攻巴比倫、列營圍之、勿容一人逃遁、循其所為而報之、依其所行以待之、緣彼狂傲、悖逆以色列之聖者耶和華也、

爾將對巴比倫王作歌曰、殘虐者奚絕乎、強暴者奚息乎、

彼勒傾覆、尼波俯伏、其像負於牲畜、爾素所舁之物、成為重負、使牲畜困憊、彼皆傾覆、同俯伏、不能救其重負、己亦為人所虜、○

樹幟於大地、吹角於列邦、集諸族來攻之、招亞拉臘米尼亞實基拿諸國擊之、立軍長攻之、使驍騎咸上、有若陋蝗、
