People will run and hide in caves in the rocks. They will go into holes in the ground. They will run away from the terrifying presence of the Lord. They will run when he comes in glory and majesty. When he comes, he will shake the earth.

And people shall enter the caves of the rocks and the holes of the ground, from before the terror of the Lord, and from the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to terrify the earth.

When the Lord rises to shake the earth, his enemies will crawl into holes in the ground. They will hide in caves in the rocks from the terror of the Lord and the glory of his majesty.

萬有之主耶和華曰、當延片晷、我將震動天地、撼搖山海、

其必受刑永苦、被逐於主前、不得覲其耿光、

主離其位、降臨於地、陟彼崇邱、主臨格時、峰巒頓失、陵谷頓開、如蠟消融、如水就下、

當時、地大震、城圮十分之一、死者七千人、餘盡驚駭、讚美天上上帝、

必舐塵若蛇、出穴若蟲、寅畏我、亦畏懼爾。

眾聲大作、雷轟電掣、地大震、自生民以來、未有如此大震者、

二人遂出、使非利士人觀瞻。非利士人曰、希百來人素匿於巢穴、今已出矣。

耶和華曰、我必召眾漁人、使漁之、召眾獵夫、使獵之、出諸山岡、驅之磐穴。

以色列人見事處困迫、遭於患難、則匿於巖穴、林藪、岡巒、坎阱。

流離轉徙、或荒野、或山巔、或地穴、若此之人、世不足居之、

滄海何為中判兮、約但何為回流兮、山巒何為搖撼、有若牡羊、有若羔羊、踴躍靡定兮、雅各之上帝耶和華、以磐為沼、以石為泉、大地亦必震動於其前兮。

主日將至、猶盜乘夜而來、當時大聲一呼、而天為之崩、有形色者悉焚燬、地與造作之物、無不被爇、百物如將消滅、爾曹宜如何行善虔敬、佇望仰慕上帝顯日、其顯則天爇而崩、有形色者焚而燬、上帝有命、天地一新、義處乎中、我儕所望、

願耶和華勃然而興兮、莊嚴而臨兮、使我之煩冤兮得白、使敵之憤怒兮悉平。

昔上帝自提慢而至、聖主自巴蘭山而來、榮光蔽天、頌聲遍地、朗耀勝於日華、榮光激射、若其至德、則不能見焉、未至之先、降以疫癘、既去之後、加以體熱、立於斯、大地震動、垂鑒察、民人戰慄、自昔以來、恆久之山嶽、皆主所造、今則見主而崩頹、渺然無蹤、古山之帳遭難、米田之帷震動、我目睹之矣。耶和華與、爾氣憤烈、決河擊海、豈怒河海哉、蓋欲駕馬乘車、以獲全勝耳。爾出弓於弢、持戈齊起、以應爾命、爾既涖臨、地闢河濬、岡巒戰慄、洪水泛濫、深淵噌吰、波濤澎湃、

爾有威可畏、厥怒奮揚、莫能禦兮、上帝兮、勃然興起、雪窮獨之冤、自天降命、居民寅畏、不敢興戎兮、

上帝殿在天、其時四闢、見殿中有主約匱、大聲雷轟電掣、地震雨雹、甚矣哉、

當告猶大方伯、所羅把伯云、我將震動天地、顛倒國位、隳其能力、維車維馬、與乘駕之人、我俱毀之、使民各以鋒刃相擊、

此時、人將求死不得、蓋欲死而不能也、

羔啟六緘、見地大震、日黑如褐、月赤如血、天星隕地、如無花果樹、為風飄撼、未熟之果盡落、穹蒼若軸、舒而復卷、山島遷移、世上諸王大夫將軍富人、有能者、或主或僕、匿於巖穴、

我觀有位、甚大色白、與坐之者、天地見之、頓失無所、

昔耶和華以亞述人為杖箠、以擊斯民、厥後亞述之人、戰鬥敗績、民將鼓琴彈瑟不已、

耶和華能力甚大、雖不遽怒、然恆於惡者、不蒙赦宥、耶和華涖臨、若颶風狂飆之驟起、視雲若足下之塵、一叱咤而海水涸、汲道絕矣、巴山加密已荒蕪矣、利巴嫩之榮華、倏然凋謝矣、在彼之前、岡嶺震動、山巒頓失、大地墳起、世人殞亡、厥怒奮發、若山巔出火、孰能自立、厥氣憤烈、若磐巖崩裂、孰能得生、
