你要在光禿的山上豎起旗幟，向眾人揚聲揮手，叫他們進入權貴的門。

到那時，耶和華必發出哨聲，把埃及河流盡頭的蒼蠅和亞述地的蜂子召來。

有耳的，就應當聽。”

萬民哪！你們要聽這話；世上的居民哪！你們要留心聽。不論地位高低，或貧或富，都要一同留心聽。

聽啊！耶和華向這城呼叫，敬畏你的名就是智慧；支派和城裡的會眾啊！你們要聽。

大地啊！大地啊！大地啊！要聽耶和華的話。

城中如果吹起號角，居民怎會不驚慌呢？災禍如果臨到某城，不是耶和華所降的嗎？如果主耶和華不先把計劃向他的僕人眾先知顯示，他就不會作任何事。獅子吼叫，誰不害怕；主耶和華宣告，誰敢不代他傳話？

諸天哪！要聽。大地啊！要留心聽。因為耶和華說：“我把孩子養育，使他們成長，他們卻背叛了我。

聽啊！山上有喧嘩的聲音，好像是眾多的人民；聽啊！有多國的人的嘈雜聲，好像是列國聚集在一起。萬軍之耶和華正在數點軍兵，預備打仗。

耶和華必在他子民頭上顯現，他的箭必像閃電一般射出；主耶和華必吹起號角，乘著南方的暴風而行。
