Yahweh said,“ As my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and a wonder concerning Egypt and concerning Ethiopia,so the king of Assyria will lead away the captives of Egypt and the exiles of Ethiopia, young and old, naked and barefoot, and with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.They will be dismayed and confounded, because of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.The inhabitants of this coast land will say in that day,‘ Behold, this is our expectation, where we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria. And we, how will we escape?’”

who set out to go down into Egypt, and have not asked my advice, to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to take refuge in the shadow of Egypt!Therefore the strength of Pharaoh will be your shame, and the refuge in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

Be merciful to me, God, be merciful to me, for my soul takes refuge in you. Yes, in the shadow of your wings, I will take refuge, until disaster has passed.

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they don’t look to the Holy One of Israel, and they don’t seek Yahweh!

Keep me as the apple of your eye. Hide me under the shadow of your wings,

“ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!

For you have been my help. I will rejoice in the shadow of your wings.

He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.

How precious is your loving kindness, God! The children of men take refuge under the shadow of your wings.

“‘“ In that day messengers will go out from before me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid. There will be anguish on them, as in the day of Egypt; for, behold, it comes.”
