though on the day you set them out, you make them grow, and on the morning when you plant them, you bring them to bud, yet the harvest will be as nothing in the day of disease and incurable pain.

The plants might start to grow on the day you set them out. The vines might begin to bud on the morning you plant them. But even if they do, there won’t be any harvest. Instead, there will be sickness and pain that won’t go away.

though you make them grow on the day that you plant them, and make them blossom in the morning that you sow, yet the harvest will flee away in a day of grief and incurable pain.

They may sprout on the day you set them out; yes, they may blossom on the very morning you plant them, but you will never pick any grapes from them. Your only harvest will be a load of grief and unrelieved pain.

因為在收割以前，花蕾開盡，花朵也成了將熟的葡萄之時，他就用鐮刀削去嫩枝，又砍掉蔓延的枝子。它們都要撇下，給山間的鷙鳥，和地上的野獸；鷙鳥必吃它們來度過夏天，地上的百獸必吃它們來度過冬天。

先知說假預言，祭司憑己意把持權柄。我的子民竟喜愛這樣，到了結局你們怎麼辦呢？”

早晨發芽生長，晚上就凋萎枯乾。

以色列啊！不要歡喜；不要像外族人一樣快樂，因為你行了邪淫，離開你的神，在各打穀場上喜愛賣淫的賞賜。打穀場和榨酒池不能餵養他們，新酒也必使他們失望。他們必不得住在耶和華之地；以法蓮要回到埃及去，要在亞述吃不潔之物。他們必不得向耶和華奠酒，他們的祭物也不能使他喜悅。他們的餅好像喪家的餅，凡吃這餅的，都必被玷污；因為他們的餅只可自己吃，不可帶進耶和華的殿。

卻以震怒和憤恨報應那些自私自利、不順從真理而順從不義的人；把患難和愁苦加給所有作惡的人，先是猶太人，後是希臘人，

以法蓮被擊打，他們的根枯乾了，必不能再結果子。即使他們生產，我必殺死他們所生的愛子。”

你們要為自己撒種公義，就能收割慈愛的果子，你們要翻鬆荒地。現在是尋求耶和華的時候，直等到他來，降下公義的雨在你們身上。你們耕種奸惡，收割不義，自吃謊言的果子；因為你倚靠自己的能力和眾多的勇士。所以必有鬨嚷之聲攻擊你的眾民，你的一切城堡都必被毀壞，正如沙勒幔在爭戰的日子毀壞伯．亞比勒一般，有母親與兒女一同在那裡被摔死。伯特利啊，因你們的罪大惡極，我必這樣待你們。在風暴中，以色列的王必全然被除滅。

可是你一直硬著心腸，不肯悔改，為自己積蓄神的忿怒，就是他彰顯公義審判的那天所要發的忿怒。

酒醉的人哪！你們要醒過來；要哀哭！所有嗜酒的人哪！你們都要為甜酒哀號，因為甜酒從你們的口裡斷絕了。因為有一民族上來侵犯我的國土，他們強大又無數；他們的牙齒像獅子的牙齒，他們有母獅的大牙。他們使我的葡萄樹荒涼，折斷了我的無花果樹，把樹皮剝盡，丟在一旁，使枝條露白。你們要哀號，像少女腰束麻布，為她幼年時許配的丈夫哀號一樣。素祭和奠祭都從耶和華的殿裡斷絕了，事奉耶和華的祭司也都悲哀。田野荒廢，土地淒涼，因為五穀毀壞，新酒乾竭，油也缺乏。農夫啊！你們要為大麥和小麥羞愧。修理葡萄園的啊！你們要哀號，因為田間的莊稼都破壞了。葡萄樹枯乾，無花果樹衰殘；石榴樹、棕樹、蘋果樹，田野所有的樹木都枯乾，因此歡樂從人間消失了。

因此主耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我的眾僕人必有吃的，你們卻要飢餓；看哪！我的僕人必有喝的，你們卻要口渴；看哪！我的僕人必要歡喜，你們卻要蒙羞；看哪！我的僕人必因心裡高興而歡呼，你們卻要因心中傷痛而哀叫，因靈裡破碎而哀號。

我告訴你們，必有許多人從東從西來到，和亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各在天國裡一起吃飯。但本來要承受天國的人，反被丟在外面黑暗裡，在那裡必要哀哭切齒。”

不要自欺，神是不可輕慢的。人種的是甚麼，收的也是甚麼：順著自己的肉體撒種的，必定從肉體收取敗壞；順著聖靈撒種的，必定從聖靈收取永生。
