The poorest of the poor will find pasture, and the needy will lie down in safety. But your root I will destroy by famine; it will slay your survivors.

Even the poorest people in Israel will have plenty to eat. Those who are in need will lie down in safety. But I will destroy your families. They will die of hunger. I will kill any of them who are still left alive.

爾播種於地、主必降雨、賜爾田產之糧、既阜且豐、是日爾之羣畜、必牧於廣苑、耕田牛驢、必食佳穀、淨以鍫杈、加之以鹽、

其人必居崇高、磐石之固、為其保障、其糧不絕、其水不乏、○

希西家乎、必有其徵、今歲食田所自生者、明年食其所復生者、迨及三年、可稼可穡、植葡萄園、而食其果、

主耶和華曰、非利士人心存蔑視、而行報復、從其永憾、圖滅我民、故主耶和華曰、我必伸手於非利士人、絕基利提族、滅海濱之遺民、大施報復、怒而譴之、我行報復、彼則知我乃耶和華、

法老未擊迦薩之先、耶和華論非利士人、諭先知耶利米之言、○耶和華云、有水自北方湧出、將成汎濫之河、淹沒斯土、與其所有、及厥城邑居民、眾皆哀哭、境內諸民號咷、健馬蹄踏、有聲隆隆、戰車衝擊、其輪轟轟、為父者聞之而手弱、不回顧其子女、蓋殲滅非利士人之日至、必於推羅西頓絕其助者、耶和華必滅非利士人、即迦斐託島之遺民、迦薩已髠、谷中亞實基倫之餘、歸於烏有、爾割己身、伊於胡底、耶和華之刃歟、爾將何時休息、其入於鞘、安然不動、耶和華既有命、爾焉能休息乎、攻亞實基倫及海濱、乃彼所定也、

亞實基倫見之而恐懼、迦薩見之而痛苦、以革倫因絕望而蒙羞、迦薩王必淪喪、亞實基倫無人居處、外族將居於亞實突、我必絕非利士人之驕、除其口中之血、齒間可憎之物、彼將為我上帝之遺民、若猶大中之族長、以革倫若耶布斯人、

其肌膚被噬、其肢體為死亡之長子所吞、

斯時羔羊齧芻、如在己苑、富厚者之荒田、旅人食其所產、○

主耶和華曰、我僕必得食、惟爾飢餓、我僕必得飲、惟爾煩渴、我僕懽忭、惟爾愧怍、我僕心樂而謳歌、爾則心憂而哭泣、神傷而號咷、

有奪於右者而仍飢、有食於左者而不飽、各齧己臂之肉、

荒涼傾覆、饑饉干戈、爾遭此災、誰為爾哀、我何以慰爾哉、

推羅西頓、及非利士四境歟、爾與我何涉、爾欲報復於我乎、如爾報我、我必疾使爾報歸於爾首、爾既刦我金銀、以我珍寶、攜入爾宮、以猶大及耶路撒冷人、鬻於希臘人、俾遠離其境、我將激之、離爾所鬻而至之地、使爾之報、歸於爾首、且鬻爾之子女於猶大人、彼鬻於示巴、即遠方之國、耶和華言之矣、○

彼必艱苦飢餓、經歷斯土、飢則煩躁、呪其君王、詛其上帝、

萬軍之主耶和華曰、爾曹壓制我民、挫折貧人之面、果何為哉、○

耶和華曰、迦薩干罪、至三至四、我不挽回厥罰、以其盡虜人民、付於以東也、我必降火於迦薩城垣、燬其宮室、殲亞實突之居民、及亞實基倫之執杖者、反手以攻以革倫、非利士之遺民滅亡、主耶和華言之矣、○
