The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has spoken— who can change his plans? When his hand is raised, who can stop him?”

万军之耶和华既然定意，谁能废弃呢？他的手已经伸出，谁能转回呢？

万军之耶和华定了计划，谁能阻挠呢？祂的手已经伸出，谁能叫祂收回呢？

因为万军之耶和华决定的事，谁能阻拦呢？他的手伸了出来，谁能使他收回呢？

要知道，万军之耶和华已经策划了，有谁能破坏呢？他的手已经伸出了，有谁能使其收回呢？

萬軍之耶和華既然定意，誰能廢棄呢？他的手已經伸出，誰能轉回呢？

萬軍之耶和華既然定意，誰能阻撓呢？他的手已經伸出，誰能使它縮回呢？

萬軍之耶和華既然定意，誰能阻撓呢？他的手已經伸出，誰能使它縮回呢？

因為萬軍之耶和華決定的事，誰能阻攔呢？他的手伸了出來，誰能使他收回呢？

因為萬軍之永恆主定了旨意，誰能廢棄呢？他的手伸了出來，誰能使它縮回呢？

要知道，萬軍之耶和華已經策劃了，有誰能破壞呢？他的手已經伸出了，有誰能使其收回呢？

萬軍之耶和華、既定其旨、誰能廢之、既伸厥手、誰能挽之、○

我萬有之主耶和華命之、誰得廢之、行之、孰能禦之。

萬有之主既定其謀、誰能廢之、既行其罰、孰能禦之、○

For the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?

The Lord who rules over all has planned it. Who can stop him? He has reached out his powerful hand. Who can keep him from using it?

For the Lord of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?

The LORD of Armies himself has planned it; therefore, who can stand in its way? It is his hand that is outstretched, so who can turn it back?

For the Lord of armies has planned, and who can frustrate it? And as for His stretched out hand, who can turn it back?”

For the Lord of hosts has purposed, And who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, And who will turn it back?”

For Jehovah of hosts hath purposed, and who shall annul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

The Lord of Hosts Himself has planned it; therefore, who can stand in its way? It is His hand that is outstretched, so who can turn it back?

For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul[ it]? and his hand[ is] stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

Indeed, the LORD who commands armies has a plan, and who can possibly frustrate it? His hand is ready to strike, and who can possibly stop it?

For Yahweh of Armies has planned, and who can stop it? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?”

“ From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.”

He prayed,“ O Lord, God of our ancestors, you alone are the God who is in heaven. You are ruler of all the kingdoms of the earth. You are powerful and mighty; no one can stand against you!

But once he has made his decision, who can change his mind? Whatever he wants to do, he does.

If he snatches someone in death, who can stop him? Who dares to ask,‘ What are you doing?’

No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against the Lord.

I will call a swift bird of prey from the east— a leader from a distant land to come and do my bidding. I have said what I would do, and I will do it.

The earth will mourn and the heavens will be draped in black because of my decree against my people. I have made up my mind and will not change it.”

“ While these words were still in his mouth, a voice called down from heaven,‘ O King Nebuchadnezzar, this message is for you! You are no longer ruler of this kingdom.You will be driven from human society. You will live in the fields with the wild animals, and you will eat grass like a cow. Seven periods of time will pass while you live this way, until you learn that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses.’“ That same hour the judgment was fulfilled, and Nebuchadnezzar was driven from human society. He ate grass like a cow, and he was drenched with the dew of heaven. He lived this way until his hair was as long as eagles’ feathers and his nails were like birds’ claws.“ After this time had passed, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and worshiped the Most High and honored the one who lives forever. His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is eternal.All the people of the earth are nothing compared to him. He does as he pleases among the angels of heaven and among the people of the earth. No one can stop him or say to him,‘ What do you mean by doing these things?’

You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has done it to destroy your pride and bring low all earth’s nobility.

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

But the Lord’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken.

“ Will you discredit my justice and condemn me just to prove you are right?

The Syrians from the east and the Philistines from the west will bare their fangs and devour Israel. But even then the Lord’s anger will not be satisfied. His fist is still poised to strike.

The prophet Jeremiah gave this message to Seraiah son of Neriah and grandson of Mahseiah, a staff officer, when Seraiah went to Babylon with King Zedekiah of Judah. This was during the fourth year of Zedekiah’s reign.
