啟明之晨星歟、何自天而隕乎、屈抑列邦者歟、何見斫於地乎、

爾素為明星、今乃隕自天、昔則敗列國、今乃見滅絕、

爾明光之晨星歟、何竟隕自天哉、勝列國者歟、何竟偃仆塵埃哉、

“ King of Babylon, you thought you were the bright morning star. But now you have fallen from heaven! You once brought down nations. But now you have been thrown down to the earth!

耶穌對他們說：「我看見撒旦像閃電一樣從天上墜落。

天上的萬象都要衰亡，天如同書卷要被捲起來；其中的萬象都要凋零，如葡萄樹的葉子凋零，又如無花果樹的葉子凋零。

並且我們有先知更確切的話語。你們如果留心這些話語，把它當做照耀在暗處的燈，一直到天光破曉、晨星在你們心中升起，你們就做得很好了。

「我耶穌，派遣了我的使者，為各教會向你們見證了這些事。我就是大衛的根，也是他的後裔，那明亮的晨星。」

接著，天上發生了戰爭：米迦勒和他的天使們與龍交戰，龍和牠的使者們也應戰，可是龍不能得勝，天上再也沒有牠們的地方了。於是那巨龍被摔了下來。牠就是那古蛇，被稱為魔鬼和撒旦，那迷惑普天下的。牠被摔在地上，牠的使者們也與牠一起被摔了下來。隨後，我聽見天上有一個大聲音說：「我們神的救恩、大能、國度，和他基督的權柄，現在都來到了！因為我們弟兄的控告者，就是那日夜在我們神面前控告他們的，已經被摔下去了。

第三位天使吹響號角，就有一顆像火把一樣燃燒著的大星，從天上墜落，落在江河的三分之一和眾水的泉源上。

我還要把晨星賜給他。

天上的星辰和眾星座都不發光；太陽出來時就是黑的，月亮也不放光。

你必對巴比倫王唱這首諷刺歌：「壓迫人的怎麼止息了呢？凶暴怎麼止息了呢？耶和華打斷了惡人的杖和管轄者的權杖——它們曾在盛怒中以不停的猛擊來擊打萬民；在怒氣中以無情的逼迫來轄制列國。

第五位天使吹響號角，我就看見從天上墜落到地上的一顆星。它被賜予了無底坑口的鑰匙。

要知道：既然神沒有顧惜那些犯罪的天使，把他們扔進地獄，囚禁在幽暗的坑裡，拘留到審判的時候；
