See, the day of the Lord is coming— a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger— to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it.

The day of the Lord is coming. It will be a terrible day. The Lord’ s burning anger will blaze out. He will make the land dry and empty. He’ll destroy the sinners in it.

願罪人從地上被滅盡，不再有惡人！我的靈魂哪，你當頌讚耶和華！哈利路亞！

你依靠自己的惡行，說：『沒有人看見我。』你的智慧和知識把你引入歧途，你心裡就說：『只有我，除我以外再沒有別的！』但災禍必臨到你，你卻不知如何消解；災難必落在你身上，你卻無法贖清；毀滅必突然臨到你，你卻意料不到。堅持施行你的符咒和眾多法術吧！那些都是你從年輕時辛勞所得的，或許你能得益處，或許還能讓人恐懼呢！你因謀劃過多而筋疲力盡；現在就讓那些劃分天象、觀看星辰、在新月時說預言的都站出來吧，拯救你脫離那些將要臨到你的事！看哪！他們必像麥稭一樣被火燒毀，他們不能解救自己脫離威猛的火焰；這不是可以用來取暖的炭火，也不是可以坐在其面前的爐火。那些與你一起辛勞的，就是從你年輕時就與你一起做買賣的，對你也是如此；他們各奔己路，四處飄流，沒有人拯救你。」

哀號吧！因為耶和華的日子近了；這日子來到，像毀滅從全能者來到那樣。

而惡人將從地上被剪除，背信者將從地上被拔出。

你所看見的那十隻角和那獸，他們將恨惡那淫婦，並且將使她成為荒蕪、赤身露體，又要吃她的肉，而且用火燒掉她。因為神把意念放在他們心中，要他們實現他的目的，要他們行事目的一致，並把十隻角的王權交給那獸，直到神的話語成就。

隨後，我看見一位天使站在太陽中，對所有在空中飛翔的鳥大聲呼喊說：「來吧，聚集起來赴神的大宴席，為要吃君王的肉、軍官的肉、壯士的肉、馬和騎士的肉，以及各種人的肉，包括自由人和奴隸，卑微人和尊貴人的肉。」接著，我看見那獸和地上的眾君王以及他們的軍兵聚集在一起，要與騎白馬的那一位和他的軍隊作戰。但那獸被抓了；那假先知也與牠一起被抓了——他在獸面前行了許多奇蹟，藉此迷惑那些接受獸的印記並膜拜獸像的人。獸和那假先知兩個都活生生地被丟進燃燒著硫磺的火湖裡。其餘的人，也都被騎白馬那一位口中所發出的劍殺死了。所有的鳥都吃飽了他們的肉。

為此，在一天之內她所受的災害，就是死亡、悲傷和饑荒，就要來到。她將要在烈火中被燒掉，因為主、神——審判她的那一位是強有力的。」

萬軍之耶和華說：「看哪！那日子將要來到，燃燒如火爐；所有傲慢的和作惡的都必成為麥稭，那要來的日子必把他們燒盡，不留下一根一枝。
