彼以寅畏耶和華為悅、不依目見而鞫、不依耳聞而擬、

知人崇事耶和華之誠偽、不待目見耳聞、而是非悉辨、

以敬畏主為悅、行審鞫不待目見、行判斷不待耳聞、

and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;

The Branch will take delight in respecting the Lord. He will not judge things only by the way they look. He won’t make decisions based simply on what people say.

And his delight shall be in the fear of the Lord. He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide disputes by what his ears hear,

He will delight in obeying the Lord. He will not judge by appearance nor make a decision based on hearsay.

His delight will be in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, he will not execute justice by what he hears with his ears,

And He will delight in the fear of the Lord, And He will not judge by what His eyes see, Nor make decisions by what His ears hear;

His delight is in the fear of the Lord, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;

And his delight shall be in the fear of Jehovah; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither decide after the hearing of his ears;

His delight will be in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what He sees with His eyes, He will not execute justice by what He hears with His ears,

And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

He will take delight in obeying the LORD. He will not judge by mere appearances, or make decisions on the basis of hearsay.

His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;

不要根據外表來斷定是非，要按公義的原則判斷。」

你們只憑外表判斷別人，我卻不判斷人。就算我判斷人，我的判斷也是正確的，因為我不是獨自一人，還有差我來的父與我同在。

但耶和華對撒母耳說：「不要看他相貌堂堂、身材高大，我要選的不是他。耶和華不像世人那樣看人，人看外表，耶和華看內心。」

你就會懂得敬畏耶和華，認識上帝。

求你賜我智慧治理你的子民，並能辨別是非；不然，我又怎能治理你這眾多的子民呢？」

乾糧是給成年人吃的，他們的心思歷經鍛煉，能夠分辨善惡。

耶穌漸漸長大，智慧與日俱增，越來越受上帝和人們的喜愛。

我所祈求的就是：你們的愛心隨著屬靈知識的增加和辨別力的提高而日益增長，使你們知道怎樣擇善而從，做誠實無過的人，一直到基督再來的日子，

這樣，你就明白何為仁義、公平和正直，懂得一切美善之道。

我們講述這些事，不是用人類智慧所教的話，而是用聖靈所教的話，用屬靈的話解釋屬靈的事。然而，屬血氣的人不接受從上帝來的聖靈的教導，認為愚不可及，無法明白，因為只有屬靈的人才能參透。屬靈的人能夠參透萬事，但沒有人能參透他。

舌頭豈不品嚐食物，耳朵豈不辨別話語？

婢女想，我主我王的話必能安慰我，因為我主我王就像上帝的天使一樣能明辨是非。願王的上帝耶和華常與王同在！」

以色列人聽見王這樣斷案，都敬畏他，因為他們知道他有上帝所賜的智慧，可以秉公執法。

因為耳朵辨別話語，正如舌頭品嚐食物。

祂必成為你一生的保障，使你得到豐盛的救恩、智慧和知識。敬畏耶和華是你最大的寶藏。

不用別人告訴祂，祂也深知人的內心。

我對你們或別人給我的評價毫不介意，我也不評價我自己。就算我今日問心無愧，也不能自以為義，因為評價我的是主。所以，時候未到，不可妄下斷語。到主耶穌再來的時候，祂會揭開暗中的隱情，使人心裡的動機顯露。到時候上帝會給各人應得的稱讚。
