The Lord will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that anyone can cross over in sandals.

The Lord will dry up the Red Sea in Egypt. By his power he’ll send a burning wind to sweep over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into many streams. Then people will be able to go across it wearing sandals.

And the Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt, and will wave his hand over the River with his scorching breath, and strike it into seven channels, and he will lead people across in sandals.

The Lord will make a dry path through the gulf of the Red Sea. He will wave his hand over the Euphrates River, sending a mighty wind to divide it into seven streams so it can easily be crossed on foot.

我來的時候，為何沒有人呢？我呼喚的時候，為何無人回應呢？我的膀臂豈是過短、不能救贖嗎？我豈無拯救之力嗎？看哪，我一斥責，海就乾了；我使江河變為曠野，其中的魚因無水腥臭，乾渴而死。

到那日，埃及必像婦人一樣，因萬軍之耶和華揮手攻擊而戰兢懼怕。

耶和華必經過苦海，擊打海浪。尼羅河的深處全都枯乾，亞述的驕傲必降卑，埃及的權杖必除去。

第六位天使把碗傾倒在大幼發拉底河上，河水就乾了，為要給從日出之地所來的眾王預備道路。

「那時，主必用大河外雇來的剃頭刀，就是亞述王，剃去你的頭髮和腳毛，並要剃淨你的鬍鬚。

我要使江河乾涸，將這地賣在惡人手中；我要藉外國人的手，使這地和其中所充滿的變為荒蕪；這是我－耶和華說的。

耶和華的膀臂啊，興起，興起！以能力為衣穿上，像古時的年日，像上古的世代一樣興起！從前砍碎拉哈伯、刺透大魚的，不是你嗎？使海與深淵的水乾涸，在海的深處開路，使救贖的民走過的，不是你嗎？

所以，看哪，我必與你和你的江河為敵，使埃及地，從密奪到色弗尼，直到古實邊界，全然廢棄荒蕪。

耶和華對摩西說：「你要對亞倫說：『拿你的杖，伸出你的手在埃及所有的水上，在他們的江、河、池塘，所有水聚集的地方上，叫水變成血。在埃及全地，無論在木器中，石器中，都必有血。』」摩西和亞倫就照耶和華所吩咐的去做。亞倫在法老和他臣僕眼前舉杖擊打尼羅河裏的水，河裏的水都變成血了。河裏的魚死了，河也臭了，埃及人就不能喝這河裏的水；埃及遍地都有了血。

你曾用能力將海分開，你打破水裏大魚的頭。你曾壓碎力威亞探的頭，把牠給曠野的禽獸作食物。你曾分裂泉源和溪流；使長流的江河枯乾。

摩西向海伸手，耶和華就用強勁的東風，使海水在一夜間退去，海就成了乾地；水分開了。

海水枯竭，河流乾涸，江河發臭，埃及的河水必然減少而枯乾。蘆葦和蘆荻枯萎，尼羅河旁的植物，在尼羅河的沿岸，並尼羅河旁所種的一切全都枯焦，被風吹去，歸於無有。打魚的哀哭，所有在尼羅河釣魚的都必悲傷，在水上撒網的也都衰殘。以細緻的麻編織的必羞愧，織布的必變蒼白；織布的心情沮喪，所有的傭工心都愁煩。
