Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.

因此，主萬軍之耶和華這樣說：“我的子民、錫安的居民哪！亞述人雖然用棍擊打你們，又像埃及一樣舉杖攻擊你們，你們卻不要怕他們。

因此主萬軍之永恆主這麼說：『住錫安的、我的人民哪，亞述雖用棍子擊打你，又照埃及的樣子舉杖攻擊你，你不要怕他。

因此，主萬軍之耶和華如此說：「住在錫安的我的子民哪，亞述人雖然像埃及人用棍擊打你們、舉杖對付你們，你們卻不要怕他們。

萬軍之主耶和華曰、我居錫安之民歟、雖亞述擊爾以梃、加爾以杖、倣乎埃及、爾勿懼之、

萬有之主耶和華、告郇邑之民曰、亞述之眾、我民勿懼之、彼舉杖箠、加爾以扑責、與昔埃及人無異、

因此主萬有之天主如是云、居郇之我民、毋懼亞述、今彼以梃擊爾、舉杖加撲責於爾、與昔伊及無異、

Therefore this is what the Lord, the Lord Almighty, says:“ My people who live in Zion, do not be afraid of the Assyrians, who beat you with a rod and lift up a club against you, as Egypt did.

The Lord rules over all. The Lord says,“ My people who live in Zion, do not be afraid of the Assyrian army. They beat you with rods. They lift up war clubs against you, just as the Egyptians did.

Therefore thus says the Lord God of hosts:“ O my people, who dwell in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrians when they strike with the rod and lift up their staff against you as the Egyptians did.

So this is what the Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, says:“ O my people in Zion, do not be afraid of the Assyrians when they oppress you with rod and club as the Egyptians did long ago.

Therefore, the Lord GOD of Armies says this:“ My people who dwell in Zion, do not fear Assyria, though they strike you with a rod and raise their staff over you as the Egyptians did.

Therefore this is what the Lord God of armies says:“ My people, you who dwell in Zion, do not fear the Assyrian who strikes you with the rod, and lifts up his staff against you the way Egypt did.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD of hosts:“ O My people, who dwell in Zion, do not be afraid of the Assyrian. He shall strike you with a rod and lift up his staff against you, in the manner of Egypt.

Therefore thus saith the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian, though he smite thee with the rod, and lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.

Therefore, the Lord God of Hosts says this:“ My people who dwell in Zion, do not fear Assyria, though he strikes you with a rod and raises his staff over you as the Egyptians did.

So here is what the sovereign master, the LORD who commands armies, says:“ My people who live in Zion, do not be afraid of Assyria, even though they beat you with a club and lift their cudgel against you as Egypt did.

Therefore the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, says“ My people who dwell in Zion, don’t be afraid of the Assyrian, though he strike you with the rod, and lift up his staff against you, as Egypt did.

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than[ that of] Abel.

And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.

For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.

Say ye not, A confederacy, to all[ them to] whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and[ let] him[ be] your fear, and[ let] him[ be] your dread.

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go[ back] by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry[ land], and the waters were divided.And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry[ ground]: and the waters[ were] a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea,[ even] all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen,[ and] all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.But the children of Israel walked upon dry[ land] in the midst of the sea; and the waters[ were] a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.

Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and[ so] get them up out of the land.Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve,[ was] with rigour.And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one[ was] Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah:And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see[ them] upon the stools; if it[ be] a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it[ be] a daughter, then she shall live.

And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people,[ that] this[ man] was born there. Selah.

I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.

Hath he smitten him, as he smote those that smote him?[ or] is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him?

The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;He shall dwell on high: his place of defence[ shall be] the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters[ shall be] sure.

Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath,[ which] consumed them as stubble.And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap,[ and] the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.

Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent’s root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit[ shall be] a fiery flying serpent.

But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses[ and] chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.

And it shall come to pass,[ that he that is] left in Zion, and[ he that] remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy,[ even] every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

This[ is] the word which the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee,[ and] laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.

Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great[ is] the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

Say to them[ that are] of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come[ with] vengeance,[ even] God[ with] a recompence; he will come and save you.

And the officers of the children of Israel, which Pharaoh’s taskmasters had set over them, were beaten,[ and] demanded, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and to day, as heretofore?
